"I worry I ain't entirely doing right by him, since I'm here. He's been at his father's hold, and I know they're taking good care of him..."

"Send him some pictures of the buildings here and your friends" She suggests "Make him feel included?"

"He has a phone. I get lots of pictures back." She digs hers out, and shows a text chain - pictures of horses, goats, dogs...

"Wow... is it a farm?"

"That's Rivervale. Nanny and Nonny are his."

"Cool."

"Now, these horses are at Silver Wolf."

"Okay... that one's pretty" She admits "But I don't know horses well"

"Now, all horses are pretty. Star was sired there, though she's considered 'off-color' by their standards." Snort.

"Wait, Star is the one in the first set of pictures of Rivervale right?"

"Yeah. She's mine."

"Off color? She's got her own built in insignia"

"She does! But see, she's a dapple instead of clean black-and-white. Aiden is a bit anal retentive about his color scheme."

"I don't get it. Does dapple make a horse slower or weaker or something?"

"It doesn't, but I'm not an Ailil Sidhe."

Okay. Massey rolls her eyes at that "Dragons are weird"

"Yup."

"Well, I don't know horses, but I am glad you did. Maybe you could give me riding lessons sometime? I'll trade you some new dance moves?"

"Oh, I'd be happy to."

"Neat" A grin "I don't know if I'll be any good at it, but it would be nice to have someone who knows what it is like to have a glorious mane" She shakes her hair playfully

"You want a sugar cube?"

Massey's mouth opens in shock then...she can't hold on, and she breaks into laughter. She gives a playful shove to the troll, which will only move her if she wants to be moved

A grin, and she indulges in a few side steps in response to the shove.

Mollified by the generous side steps, Massey mmmphs "And I will have that sugar cube since you offered.... in a drink. You owe me a drink"

Oh, she's blushing again. "Okay then."

A smile "Done deal" And instead of a shove, Massey bumps against her warmly "And thanks. Tea or coffee, your choice."

"I know a place that does both? They have lots of choices."

"Sounds good!"

And off the two go... with Dagmar buying a girl a drink. Progress thinks Massey.
