Phoebe looks at Sam and Sylvi with a kind of envious joy, and a bit of concern, "You guys didn't do this... so you're not feeling 'empty' are you?"

"Aww, Phoebe!" Sylvi smiles. "It's okay, you don't have to worry about me, and I think you're okay too, right?" she asks Dagmar and Masey.

"I'm okay?"

Masey says "Totally stunned, you always were non banal and groovy, Phoebe but didn't realize you were regular enchantment bait"

"I suspected."

"Yeah well," Phoebe spins "i've always marched to the beat of my own drum, but sometimes I dance to fae belles. It's wonderful.. and you're all so kind"

Dagmar heard a lie... at the 'you're all so kind' part

Brow.

Frown.

Folded arms.

"All fae, kind?" Even without Gwydion boon, she looks skeptical, especially after Dagmar's reaction. "Um...I mean, I've met some that aren't kind. Maybe you've been lucky."

"OH yes," Phoebe says "I meant all were kind to me" A theatre major, she performs well... but Dagmar's boon kicks in again, and Sylvi is .. pretty good at BS detecting "This is going to be nice" That is true

"Who did you meet, before?"

"Yeah, good question."

Masey was smiling but notes the tone and looks curious

"I met Dover, he's cool" She says "That was when I was a kid. " Phoebe smiles wistfully "He stayed young, eventually he couldn't be seen with me, but for a few years we were tight" true

"Yeah? Kids are... easier, to include. What did Dover look like?"

"So he's still back home, wherever home is? I don't think I ever asked."

"Oh it's been so long I don't know if he's finally a teen yet or not, wherever he is now" Phoebe grins wistfully "He was this cute kid with antlers and these freckles like a faun's spots. Lied a lot. Pooka though so it wasn't his fault."

"Yeah, pooka. So - just him?"

Phoebe notes the direction this has taken "Uhm.. am I allowed to plead the fifth amendment of your Escheat?"

Sylvi's brow furrows a bit. "Well...I think we're all thinking you might have met some other fae who weren't so kind. If somebody's messing with you, we'd like to see about putting a stop to that."

Grunt. Nod.

"She.. she as in preferred gender pronoun, not sidhe as in 'holy crap can I touch your hair, elf lord' isn't in my life anymore. She got a bit controlling is all"

Brow.

"Sounds like you know a lot about us."

"Yeah, a lot" Masey nods

"Yeah, Phoebe. Were you...being kept or something?"

"Look, hakkunah matatada, I'm my own gal again. I'm good" Phoebe says "I got no strings on me...and other disneyisms"

A blink. "You're kin, aren't you? Like, pooka-kin?" She smiles.

"Teeny drop. Somewhere in my great great grandparents I would guess. I don't even have animal features or the like so the glow doesn't last long" Phoebe says "But that's okay, we daughters of Eve are plenty special and I can survive long buercratic lines which as you all know is handy in college"

"SO handy," Sylvi agrees. She looks like she's having some other thoughts, but all she says is, "Well, is there anything you'd like to do while you've got the glow?"

A soft harrumph.

"Anyone MAD at me for knowing things?" A swallow "Am I in trouble?"

"You? No."

"Not me. I mean... yeah, okay, technically you're kind of a security risk, it's true, but I have a good feeling about you, Phoebe."

A half-grin at Dagmar. "If we ever find out who's messed with you, they might be in trouble."

Another little grunt of a greement.

"Trolls" Masey pats the kinian on the arm, "THey're like like big friendly trucks that roll over annoyances that try to hurt you" a grin

"Truck?! Gee, thanks!" Sylvi says, not really insulted.

Phoebe mutters "As long as you're able to unlock the passenger side"

"I like trucks" Masey glances at Dagmar "Strong, good frame" A wink

A puzzled look at Phoebe's mutter.

Phobe releases she's been overheard "THought it was sluagh with the good ears?"

"Oh right, trolls too" A blush

"Well, when I'm paying attention, yeah...." she says, looking concerned again.

"I had a little trouble with a troll, she got.. possessive" Phoebe shrugs "But it's okay. It was a troll who helped me get a fresh start too. " Reassuring

A blush at masey's coment.

"Trolls can get... overprotective."

"I'm sorry that happened, Phoebe. I had no idea."
