Dagmar retrieves the treasure.

Indeed the Clurichaun looks ready to chant another cantrip "she won't stay big forever, but I'll burn you and her before ..."

Sylvi says, "Snow, shake her."

"Like a gourd!" Snow grins and does so.

Sylvi likes to imagine she could hear bones clacking inside skin

Dagmar has the whip , this thing feels mean

"Not too much."

"Snow is not used to being big, Friend Sylvi. She is normally right sized and seeks only to grow her all too thin belly"

"You're really cocky for being a fruit monkey's maraca."

She says to the hopefully-rattled clurichaun, "Okay, so listen...there might not be a noble in charge of this area, but that means that we can fight you the next time we see you here. Or anywhere else. Right now it's just us. Next time, it would be more. That means...don't come back."

"Message... recieved" the Clurichaun hisses "Just let me gather my creatures... I need my key ring back"

Brow.

"No."

"No."

"They're not your creatures. You stole them. I'm stealing your keys. That makes it all nice and even."

"I am Madame Invida, I collected these from all over. Others wouldn't claim them as theirs, that means I could take them as mine"

"Nope. My philosophy professor would call that faulty logic. They don't have to belong to anybody. They belong to themselves."

"Besides...how hard did you really look to see who would claim them? You can bet one of us would have spoken up to protect Snow immediately."

GLARE.

Invidia scowls, then says "Fine. I've no choice in the matter. we'll go"

"Good. And we'll be spreading the word, so be sure people will be keeping an eye out. You might get blamed for every missing chimera, everywhere. Have fun with that."

Madame Invidia's eyes narrow, then she says "I'll be taking that whip at least"

"There are chimera who aren't sentient, and chimera who would be willing to perform... you chose imprisonment and cruelty."

"Nope, we keep the whip, too."

"You can try." Casual indifference as a quiet threat.

"FINE" Invidia says "to hell with your whole damned Duchy. there are other places not so self righteous. we'll go. At least most of us will. Me? I know revenge is a fool's dance. But I can't say the same about Ragnad. If she survived, she'll be gunning for you both. Good luck with that"

Dagmar shrugs. "Had enemies before. Will again."

It is well timed, as the spell embigening Snow starts to fade, and she begins to shrink slowly to a more proper monkey size. Stories will be told by those who fled here of a crazed giant white primate who held a woman aloft and tried to claim to the top of a building(tent) and perhaps swatted down things. It'll get a bit out of hand story wise, but that's for eshu to worry about

Sylvi waits until she can make a safe landing without the aid of cantrip, and slips off Snow's shoulder, grimacing slightly.

A quick eyebrow lift at SYlvi ("You okay?")

By now, many chimera have fled, some linger. A few will now plague Rutgers or the local area

And a chimerical knight and his shield are reunited

"I'm fine. Gonna want to heal up soon, but good for now."

"Yeah, can't say I don't miss your mom's baking right now..."

(Is Invidia still there?)

Snow ahems "You know what makes one feel better? Fruit. We should find some"

Madame Invidia has gone. The redcap with her since he was allowed.

A soft chuff of laughter. "I think we can do that, Snow."

"We absolutely should," Sylvi agrees. "Dagmar, let's get Snow back to the apartment for now. I'll heal up and look after her if you do fruit shopping?"

Dag nods. "You should rest." Aside from the redcap bite, the Gwydion seems to be fairly intact.

And her armor DID take the worst of that.

Merione looks about at the torn tent, the panicked citizens, and odd chimera that hop about "So this is what it's like to be part of the X-Men"

"Mmph. Yeah, some days."

"Listen, hey, we have a study group idea - you interested in joining? Thursdays, and I plan on baking cookies."

"You did great, Merione. Thanks for the assists."

"Yeah, you should join us! And her cookies are worth it."

Merione looks at the trolls, "You nearly got me killed and you invite me to a STUDY group, with cookies to make up for my being terrified ?" she considers "Sure. what time?"

"I take cookie requests. And.. uh... 7?"
