Kerri leaves for a half day, and that's when all THIS happens?

Olgar greets her "How'd the shopping go?" he says as chimera bounce around the area

"Well, it was going fine until I felt that shockwave." She notes the random chimera. "Who hatched? Did you find them?"

She makes sure the frozen and fridge stuff gets put away quickly.

"Oh yeah" he nods "Mountain Vali, though Dagmar and D'Lavender of Silverwolf were on it before we were. " An amused look "I don't think CJ would like iti n Silverwolf though"

She blinks, then gives a very pleased grin. "Oh, that's excellent news. Does the Blue run true in that family? Or did he end up as something else?"

"True Blue" Olgar says "Though Vali jokes he almost wishes it were a satyr just ot sse the look on Jaymes face. but CJ is definitely a troll, his brow isn't that pronounced but some of it is under that blond hair so who knows. Oh, hari is more gold than white, atypical there."

"Interesting! Well, I don't want to intrude on them having some family time to celebrate, but they know to bring him over for the formal stuff soon, I hope. I doubt anybody would get away with it if they tried to claim him for a different hold, but stranger things have happened."

"Not happening" he chuckles "Apparently he came with a pokeball treasure and summoned a giant? To face a nightmare giant. I'm not worried as the victory iss already done, but we're keeping an eye out for other chimera formed or fed by it. So far, all good. I may patrol a bit closer to home for the next week. I know that breaks your heart"

"Oh, yes." She steps closer to give him a quick kiss. "I'm mortified."

He returns the kiss "I thought so "

Then she considers for a moment. "A pokeball treasure. That sounds ridiculously powerful, especially for a childling."

"I'm glad he had it to protect himself when needed, but he's going to need some coaching in responsibility with something like that."

"His monster was as big as the barn so I think you gotta point there. I think his parents figure they'll be the ones training him but by tradition you can suggest other influences"

"Well...between his parents and his sister, he's got a lot of voices with a strong ethical grounding and a range of experience and skills, but they shouldn't coddle him too much either." She starts running through possibilities in her mind.

"So a third party?"

She gives him a little smirk. "My thoughts keep coming back to you as the no-coddle influence."

"Ahhh, it is my charming 'drill sgt from hell' routine?" a wolfish grin "I normally save that for the wilders"

"Good point. Sylvi had you absolutely wrapped around her little finger as a childling," she teases.

"Oh yeah" He agrees "I drove you nuts sometimes with that" A nod "Fine .Ill help CJ and won't coddle"

He gets another kiss as a reward."Oh, now that I think of it...the Shadowpaw contingent keep getting into and out of sticky situations, and I think I only know a small part of just how much they've done. They take good care of each other, but don't shy away from adventure. Not a bad thing to encourage."

"Mm he's more vulnerable as he's still a fledge but yeah"

"Yes, we'll have to discuss limits and boundaries for him until he's sained. But they're good early role models."

"Oh! I need to make him a cake!"

"You do, they're having a celebration now, as a family but another one would be welcome" A beat "I could test one for you?"

"So selfless, you are." She pokes him lightly in the ribs.

"I'm a giver"

"I'll decorate it to look like a pokeball." She's already planning and breaks away to start gathering ingredients.

"Need help?" he offers "I mean with fetching cleaning or helping make cake?"

"Well, you could get some of these out of the kitchen," she says, gently nudging a Snorelax chimera with her shoe. "Without causing chaos."

"Ah, yeah, let me do that" He dchuckles "No chaos it is. On it"

"My hero." She gives him a grin, then gets to work.

He admires her rear as she works at the kitchen counter, tells the Snorelax "I'm tapping that" And carries it off cheekily

She can make him pay for that later, if she wants
