Speaking of Siv, she's 'eavesdropping' a bit from the kitchen door. Quietly too, but not quiet enough

Kerri tilts her head towards the kitchen door and very slightly raises her volume. "I know you've said this before, Mountain. Can you be more specific about what qualities you're seeing that make her Mountain material?"

He ponders "Not sure I can. She's been trained since before she arrived in this world by her father, though he never meant to pigeonhole her. She knows the holidays and celebrations as only a Fiona troll can. She knows Lore"

Kerri nods. "Nothing like being raised by fae parents to build up that knowledge and insight early."

"More than that, she's an explorer by nature. Going stir crazy, but in some ways, Exploring can be internal." A last thought "And I think she's thinking of leaving Rivervale and while that IS her choice , and her spouses, it feels like a loss to US if she does."

"I wouldn't begrudge her time away. It's in her nature and in her blood to explore. But...I think she has a very good chance to do well in the role. So...you're thinking of taking her on as a more formal protege?"

"She's the only pillar of the mountain who shows up" He says "And I try not to take that personal. Symon wants something more... open. And that's his by right. Zane blamed himself for Frank departing, and headed off to be a wizard. Frank assisted while he was here, gbut it was almost at spearpoint... and while she might grumble a bit, Siv is the only one who hasn't made me feel like helping the Mountain's duties is a drag"

Siv does not snicker behind the kitchen door or grumble or fuss
