A sigh. These seelie trolls are so stiff. It WOULD be nice to cantrip mortals a bit more than they allow. Ah well, that's why she goes on tour.

"Huh?"

"I.. okay. I can't tell you who gave it to me, and I don't know for sure who had it before that. But I can share my omen" He realizes. And so he tells her of the candle working, of how the candles turned, the smoke symbols , and at the end... "And then there was a sound like CHUNK CHING.. I think it might have been like a cash register."

She looks a bit confused. "I'm no sage like you, sorry. I was just thinking that if... IF I was going to use a cantrip like this, I'd try to bend it to busking. Nothing about this type that relates to money, not that I know of."

"I smell a con tied to this, or at least that buyer beware angle you mentioned"

"Other than, if someone holds your heart-strings, they may easily also control your purse-strings." A snicker, "Something something.. coinpurse."

Ah, Satyrs.

Making a somewhat lewd hand grasping gesture at roughly waist height.

Though, she does cover Franki's eyes as she giggles.

Clearly a good mother to protect her child so

Vali smiles, then says "In short, this is perfect sugar daddy stuff?"

"I hope that helped. This was fun! Though it's gonna nag me about whosit and whatsit. You know, so much scuttlebutt these days and I'm not even allowed to share. Did you hear about the TV star fledge?" It's safe to gossip to VALI, he's the MOUNTAIN after all.

And, a nod. "Of course. You don't NEED magic to get a sugar daddy though. Just enough sugar and the right kind of fly." A pert twitch of her tail.

Hmm he nods then says "Okay, here's the gossip I have about her, and .. oh, you should meet Myrine... "And he dishes what dirt HE knows that doesn't break his trusts.

And helps babysiet while he does

Exactly how Vali ended up babysitting, he wasn't sure. But he asked if he could repay Piper without betraying his trust, and his gossip skills were weak.

And thus it is that Brekke returns from yet another trip to Caer Falken to find the Mountain trying to keep two babies from crying.

He's making snow flakes in front of them, to try to catch their attention

"Look, snow flakes, isn't that neat?"

The babies are briefly distracted, but then return to being loudly unimpressed.

"I'm good father, I swear" He looks up at Brekke

He gets an eyebrow in response. "I am lacking evidence." Then she winks. She knows he's a very good father. "It is fine. All babies get tempermental when you do not do what they want, and it is difficult to know what they want."

She approaches and reaches down to pick up one of the twins. "And with twins, they set each other off."

Valr, in the arms of his grandmother, stops mid wail and stares at her with wide eyes. "Goob?"

"Yeah... Theon I had time to figure out. When he cries like this, he wants to be held. Not so much here"

Brekke gives Valr a solemn nod. "Indeed." She takes a seat on a bench at the nearby long table and rests Valr partially on her knee as she taps her heel to gently jostle the child.

Vali tries the same strategy with the one he is holding

She murmurs a verse in Norse in time with the bouncing.

Vali tries a Dr. Suess line, then admits "Theon loves Yurtle the Turtle. Do you think he has anarchist tendencies at his young age?"

Franki appears to be trying her best to stick a finger up Vali's nose.

He dosn't fight it too much but weaves at the last second

"Theon has two parents who do not shy away from conflict. It is possible."

"I blame his mother for his rebellious tendencies. I was an obediant child"

That might jangle the boon

"ACK she got me" He says as a nostril gets half poked

A high pitched squeal of joy from Franki and she grabs onto the nose.

Her grip is STRONG

Brekke actually finches briefly (and perhaps overdramatically) as the boon gets triggered.

"MMM" He says eyes bulging a bit

But he doesn't yank away "Lovely child" He mutters sounding a bit like a muppet from a tv show

A quiet chuckle from Brekke. "Must not get your face too close. Baby fingers are strong." Said with appreciation.

"I member" he honks..er says "I think we got a potential troll here"

"We shall see," she says calmly, using her glamour to draw little trailing vines in the air over Valr, which sparkle gold until they fizzle away like tiny silent fireworks.

"Or satyr, or maybe just wonderful kids.. though wow, that grip" He grins though and finally manages to get his nose free "I am actually glad I don't have a beard right now"

"Be glad also that you do not wear long earrings."

"Yikes. Yeah, Tiffany says she can't do that because she's a Firefighter, but I suspect Theon helped with that choice"

"Mmm." A nod. Brekke is not known to wear long earrings, either, but perhaps she has seen things.

"You know, you've got some beautiful grand kids here" He says

And there is no sarcasm or joking about it

Valr has been gazing up at the sparkles, and is beginning to get blinky-sleepy.
