Frank.... BITES the Roc's leg.

Trolls aren't redcaps, but Frank has fangs, strong jaws, and frankly, his trucker training has taught him how to eat some of the toughest food to be found on the road! The Roc Let's loose a CRY of pain as Troll and dog both bite, while Kerri waps it some more

It almost loses its grip on Gerd! Almost.. another leg through.. "I might be able to drop down, Frank, pull me, it's okay, I can take it!"

Kerri keeps up the assault, although her weapon is getting pretty darn gross.

If nothing else, hopefully she's disorienting it.

Frank tries to get Gerd out of the Roc's grip while not losing his own on IT.

Frank pulls, and Gerd grits her teeth as she gets bruised by being pulled through the Roc hard (Pun intended) Grip of the bird, but she does get free!

"Uncle Frank, catch!" She says from the ground and throws her mace to him

Kerri gets pecked at, and almost loses a finger!

Frank grabs for the mace, one-handed.

She yelps at the near miss, then calls, "Gerd, get inside!"

Frank grabs the mace successfully, and now has a weapon far harder than a hambone

"Frank, bail out when you can! It'll be airborne again, soon!"

Gerd SHOULD obey, but she's a troll and she feels t he urge to help and follows her passing the proverbial baton with a cantrip "Faster Then Justice! Swifter than payback!"

And Frank is hit with a Quicksilver action, allowing him multiple actions be it strike or retreat

Or a mix

Frank does his best to break the thing's legs, albeit he's hanging from one of them.

Frank is no slouch, and he strikes at the joints of the leg with incredible might ! WHAM WHAM and yet again, WHAM!

Then Lightning strikes the Roc's head, and the bird drops , not defeated but dazed and with a leg that no longer has a working kneecap on one leg and some pain on the other

And Eddie chomps and tears... oh there will be Roc Soup if she can help it

Kerri might be ready to glare at Gerd, but she's hobbling towards the door to finally go in "I want to help, Hearth!"

"Me too," Ylva yells from a window "Can I pour the oil on it?"

No glare is forthcoming; Gerd made the right choice.

"Ylva, get Gerd one of the healing cookies!"

As the bird is hit with lightning, Frank......?

Frank feels his hair rise, but gets only a minor shock

Ylva is heard racing along

Kerri makes sure Frank is on the ground before asking him, "Are we killing it? Or driving it off?"

OOC Did the bird fall on Frank?

OOC: Not completely but he might be part under it. Arms are free

OOC: Or Kerri, for that matter?

OOC: Not Kerri. And sorry I wasn't clearer

OOC: No, Kerri did not fall on Frank.

OOC: 😉

OOC HA! There's an image....

"Mostly, get it off me for now...." Frank grumbles as he struggles.

After giving it one more bash in the beak, Kerri relinquishes the hambone to the bird, then hurries over to pull Frank free.

The bird is shoved, Frank is freed, and is starts to stir. Flaps a wing, and slaps away Eddie, the dog rolls with a yelp

"Gerd? You want to feast on the thing that was going to feast on you? Or just never see it again?"

"It hurt my dog!" As if that explains how she feels

Jaymes yells, now closer "Well do it soon I can't keep the winds on it forever!"

"Can you zap it again? Cook it?"

Frank gets to his feet, and hands the mace back to Gerd, gesturing to the bird.

"Going to need the fire tonight" He answers

"Here, let me," Gerd takes the Mace, and jams it into the wound frank created with a bit. The Roc screams furiously .... Gerd lets go, leaving the mace in there "NOW, Ironhawk!"

And another lightning b olt comes down, drawn to the mace like a rod! The effect is... electrifying

Kerri steps back quickly!

And in that moment, they all look like troll dolls with their hair standing on end.

So they do...

and the Roc chimera falls over, dead, with singed feathers
