Gerd however seems kind of pleased, both at Vali being sure to put in the qualifier, and the Chief looking after her.

"I just finished working with Star and Stormwake."

A nod of approval. "I will go out to see them later. Spark is well, too?"

She nods. "Spark is at Silver Wolf for right now, working with Connor."

Which Brekke totally knew, even though her player had forgotten.

"He'll probably be ready to start taking a saddle in the spring."

Which Catnik totally just made up!

"With any luck, that will go well."

Vali looks amused "I wouldn't be surprised if they try to get him to cover a mare as soon as he's old enough ... they'd LOVE a winged horse regular there"

A slight snort. "This is true, but is his breeding pure enough for them to consider, even with wings?"

The ST /Player has no idea if that will breed true but didn't want to be left out of this 4th wall stuff

Gerd sighs "I just want little brother back"

"Stormwake is probably acceptable, despite how poorly they thought of Star."

"mmm we must also remember the Baron was not quite himself for a time... he's better now, and might have different feelings about Star for all we know. Or at least her off spring" Vali ponders "Now, forgive me... but I thought you might want Olgar's report of what they remember of the folks Holger's adventure helped... shall I read it?" (And fade?)
