The third ring is when it gets picked up. "King-Davidson residence, Kerri speaking." The Hearth sounds focused and efficient.

"Aunt Kerri, its your favorite Niece, well, at least your favorite one with a ship. " Siv says "I've news from a potent source about Holger's situation ... not sure how , dreaming piercing is near impossible but some how it was done"

"Siv? I'm hoping it's good news?"

"Holger IS in the Dreaming, but it appears he has his prize, and Uncle Olgar and Dame Gladiola have met up with him after he did so. He's got an escort. Maybe heading home soon"

A moment of quiet -- Siv can imagine the closed eyes and slow inhale -- and finally she says, "Good. That's...that's excellent. Thank you, Siv."

"I'll pass the thanks on. Do ye need me there or may I linger a bit? " She doesn't fuss or press for either. If she's needed, she's needed.

"I think...we're good here for the moment, Siv. Would you please extend our gratitude for the assistance?"

"I will, you call me if you need me. I shan't be overnight but can some sooner. Oh, and give Holger a head noogie and a hug for me. That boy has no idea how much buzz he's caused" A smile "And love you, Aunt Kerri"

"Much love, Siv. Be safe, please. See you soon."

And they hang up.

Her husband is with the boy. Kerri knows Holger WILL be safe now, or at least she sure feels it. Her husband is entirely 'too pretty to die easy'

And , as these things work out.... Oak barks! A happy bark!
