"So," Olgar says "I had the chat with Carowyn"

"Interesting. I had one with Sally Mae." Kerri is sorting out and folding laundry. "I'm guessing this isn't a coincidence."

"Oh, Sally Mae asked me to do it" He says

"or "HINTED'"

She grins. "And how did it go?"

"Well, I put a few beers in him, and that helped. He really does want to help people, and doesn't want her to miss out on the good they can do.. but he didn't realize he was pressing THAT hard"

"You were subtle enough so he won't think Sally Mae sent you to scold him, I hope."

"You know me, darling, Subtle is my middle name" A wink

She tosses the other end of a blanket to him, expecting him to help her fold. "Okay, so he says he didn't realize. Does he realize now?"

He smoothly catches it and begins to do just that "Yeah, he's out buying an apology gift...with his own money I might add"

"Good." They get the blanket folded, meeting up in the middle. She gives him a wink before stepping away to put the blanket atop the rest of the linens.

"Thank you for being the voice-of-guy in all that."

"Ah, half the problems with we fellows is we never learn to listen to nuance. Sterotypes aside, you ladies DO tend to communicate more intricately. Exceptions aside"

"Oh, you poor things, you fellows." Amused.

"Oh, definitely, for example, for men, sex is often a means of communication thus our confusion when women feel we aren't opening up." He works with another blanket "So... later, wanna get chatty?" Playfully

Another grin, and she hands him a stack of folded sheets and blankets. "Put these away. And then you can show me what a brilliant conversationalist you are."

"Eloquent with tongue and Pen, that's me" He assures, taking the stack, then walking a few steps, and a look and troll grunt ("You still take my breath away, you know that right?")

She returns the look and gives a bit of a huff in return. ("It's fair trade for when you take mine, lover.")

His blighted face barely registers in the negative to her, and his smile lights it to rugged handsomeness

That smile makes her eyes sparkle. Then she swats him on the backside. "Hurry up with that, then come back. I have an urge to kiss you. A lot."

(Barely registers as ugly)

(Got it.)

"On my way, and then some..." And off he goes

A last tidy-up of the kitchen counters, and she makes sure the lights are turned down and all is secure...then she goes to the bedroom where she'll welcome him soon.
