An echoing THUD-THUD-THUDDD from the yard. She may have simply pulled up the pell and used it to pound against the ground.

Then...a rather ominous silence.

Siv loves her mother and fears nothing..well she is a loved one, but that's still HER Mom, so says "Pardon me. " And gets a fresh cup of comfort coffee for her mom and heads out to offer it again

"Be right back" Siv says

Signe may go with her, that's HER PERSON

However, Siv almost runs into Brekke as she's returning. Her expression is grim, but not furious. A blink at her daughter...and then she accepts the coffee.

Siv does not comment about her mother's rage. Siv was taught at formal court that some Gwydions wish to act as if it never happened. Besides, techically it didn't. Her mother controlled it. She does say "Sylvi and I have learned something that may have a factor on all this. She learned it first. " She heads back in

A puzzled look...she's still returning to rational thought...but she follows. A sip of the coffee...followed by a deeper sip...begins to return her to sensibility.

Sylvi watches Brekke's return cautiously.

"Chief." Fist pressed to her chest, nod.

A nod in return to Dagmar.

Sylvi asks Siv, "Did you tell her?"

"Not yet, Sylvi. Did you wish to? " Siv is happy to step aside "Oh and Mor? Dame Dagmar has a request of you as well"

A blink. One thing at a time. She looks to Sylvi. "Tell me."

Siv actually reads that and looks contrite . Head nod ("Sorry, mom")

Sylvi glances to Siv, and then takes a breath. "You remember Alyssa, Chieftain? It turns out she's been through her Fior Righ...and it's been revealed that she's actually a Duchess. Now she's at Caer Falken, too, along with that Countess." A pause. "I really don't know what to make of that, if it's part of the reason why, um, Rivervale's being investigated."

Brekke frowns, brow furrowed. "A Duchess." A moment of trying to puzzle it out, but the calculus is just a bit too much at the moment. "I had not heard this. Thank you."

"BAron K seemed to confirm it... not quite directly but not subtle"

She shakes her head in confusion. "I thought Alyssa...Duchess Alyssa...had thought well of Rivervale."

Then a grumble. "I should not have waited this long to press the matter of speaking with the Count."

"You've been getting the run around," Siv observes "or so it feels to me"

"I was trying to be patient. No more."

"I dislike that Lucia has been kept from the Count."

"Lucia was in the council, which is her job but... " Siv ponders "Also makes a good decoy. "

"Hm."

Another balancing drink of coffee, then she looks to Dagmar. "Dame, what request do you have of me?"

"I want to come, when you got to Bergen."

A nod. "Then I hope you are ready. We depart. Siv, contact Baron Kealan and advise him. I am not calling for his aid, but he may wish to know. Also, tell Mountain Vali to meet us at Caer Falken." A thought. "Hearth Kerri will remain here, should something go wrong."

"Mmph." A frown at her swim trunks.

"I'll tell Mom," Sylvi says with a nod. "But then I'm going back to Goldfinch. I feel like stuff might get bad, and I want to be near my 'fire."

"Smart" Siv nods

Idea! She activates her bracer, gold-and-green armor encasing her!

A nod of approval at Dagmar. "Let us go, then." She does not bother to change into court garb, instead choosing to go in normal garb already rumpled from pell-destruction.

Siv says "Mom, sure you don't want to dress up a bit?"

Siv looks at her own garb, bikini under a light summer jacket

Brekke blinks and really looks at Siv. Then she looks down at herself. A sigh of frustration. "Fine. Yes."

And she tromps upstairs to change.

Siv says "Want me to do so as well?" Faux clueless as if storming Caer Falken in her bikini would be fantastic and a boon to all

And she carefully hides a smile as her mother starts up the stairs when she says it

A slight harrumph.

But the armor IS nice.

Siv then says "Be a sec, Dagmar. " And goes to change as her mother didn't take the bait.

Brekke grumbles, "Do as you think best, Lady Captain." And she's gone into her room.

Siv actually returns quickly "Forgot i left this here. It'll do."

Brekke follows soon after Siv, wearing her court garb. She has also taken a moment to leave a note for Frank in their room.

"Now. We go."

"Yes, Chieftain" Siv says and joins Dagmar to follow. Signe moves to Brekke's side ready to go as well

Brekke pauses, considering Signe. Then she reaches down to rumple the dog's ears. "I would have you come, but I do not think it wise. Stay. Obey the Hearth."
