"His cat was sniffing around earlier." He says helpfully. "I did NOT chase her."

((Kerri's player is unable to play, but...)) When Kerri returns, she assesses the situation, registers the fact that she'll have to bake another cake (not a real burden), and takes over food work.

"Lovecraft is always snooping."

"I haven't seem her in s'mesters!"

"Yeah, well. She snooped at school, too."

The little boy with the tiny monster is gleaming even more now that he is inside the lodge. Not kithain levels, but... he's got a glow to him, kinain maybe, or perhaps a fae slumbering, not yet ready to pop.

Connor drops a milkbone into the fire, and whispers to the other Shadowpaw clanmates.

And Anne Maire shows up at the door to help with the paper work, "I'll take some of them to MY officce, shall I, Sam? "

"Hi Ann Marie, c'mon, meet Agila first. She's been a huge help..."

Anne Marie is glad to have a translater, though she speaks Spanish herself (as well as Korean)

Soon, Anne Marie has squared a few things away.

Dag has a notebook and is cribbing important highlights from the papers.

Jack Flap asks Benigno "You want to see another movie after this one?"

And the satyr boy does squint a bit at Benigno sure he's missing something

The boy looks at Jack, and then down at the monster in his lap. "GRAH!" It snarls, and Beni gives a little nod.

"Cool. I bet you'd like Moana, sure, it's about a girl... SO many of them are" he sighs "BUUT it's good, and Maui is fun"

If Jack is expecting horns to pop or the boy to turn blue or something, he is disappointed, but he DOES have an avid movie watching buddy!

And tha'ts good! Jack Flap offers some raisins while they watch

Anne Marie does get on the phone now and then

Other kids might pooh-pooh raisins as a snack, but Beni doesn't pass up any food!

"The four with passports - they should be able to get somewhere safe pretty easy, right?"

"Very much so" Anne Marie says "I just pulled a favor with someone who owns a hotel. And some of course will stay at the guest house for the night" She eyes the balefire as if to make an unspoken point

She bobs her head.

Kerri works her angles in the background , and soon even more of the rescuees are filtered out.

Agila is one of them, she looks to Sam "I guess the bulk of the group needs me for translating. Thank you, Sam. For everything"

She offers out a hand. "I hope to run into you again."

"I might try to move into the area actually." She takes the hand and shakes it

"I'm sure we can help there. There's jobs."

"Yeah? Cool> I was in nursing school before I got here.. back in Manila that is. I.. mmm think there's a demand there?"

"Oh, for sure! Ann-Marie's husband is a doctor..."

"Oh oh!" Realization "I.. wow, Mrs Lee is.. impressive. She seems to have an answer for everything." She looks a bit guilty "I Hope she doesn't mind me asking for too much?"

"I think so long as you aren't an entitled jerk about it? She's nice."

"Oh I try t save my jerk moments for NOT Nice people, don't you worry. Thank you again, Sam. God bles you for all you've done"

Shrug. "Just did the right thing. Can't fix the hard stuff - that's Ann Marie, there."

"Just the right thing is often ignored by too many people, Sam. Don't you doubt. You're a woman of amazing courage. Treasure that about yourself" A smile, and ..off she goes

"Mmph." She flops down on the couch, keeping an eye at the crowd of childlings (and Beni) as Maui sings about "You're Welcome"

And with the boring work MOSTLY done, the kids have piled on up on the big ole troll sized couch to watch the show together

Brogan, ap Daireann, Squire to Kerri , and Ember of the Hearth looks extra drained. As an Arcadian sidhe, banaltiy still hits him a bit harder. He also does the fire with some of his own glamour to make sure the humans didn't overwhelm it. Now he too rests, not as close to the TV, with the somber look of a boy who clearly feels he has done manly like stuff

Dag pats the cushion beside her.

He sits next to her "We did well, I think."

Connor eyes the SPOT, but in ultimate sacrifice, he lets Brogan join his knight with a small smile.

"Thanks for the help."

Indeed, the Squire of Sidhe nature does not realize the full impact of Connor's sacrifice, not yet.

"All who enter without malice are guests and to be treated as such" The boy shrugs but he does look proud at the praise "I think Missus Kerri will approve"

"Hope so."
