"I don't know details, it was over Samhain."

"Just... just saw the results." Her shoulders hunch. "I was wondering if there's something I could do to.. help? After the fact?"

Sylvi looks to Frank, the resident Liam, expecting him to have some insight.

"Mmm." Frank rumbles.

"Difficult to say without knowing more. Was this mortal truly ravaged?"

"She's been taught the signs of it" tove says then looks to Dagmar "This is not your fault. Samhain, the mists, it's very hard to find who did what"

"I mean, maybe he wasn't?"

She frowns at her plate. "Sorry."

"Didn't mean to spoil the mood." Her shoulders curl.

"Well, actually..." Sylvi starts, then pauses. "I don't know about how to help somebody who's already been ravaged, but I did see that the Crimson Knight Escorts are looking for volunteers. They work with public safety to help people walk safely across campus when needed. It's like a call-up service. I thought...maybe we should volunteer."

tiffany snorts at Dagmar's sorry, "I think it's the Ravager I want to bite a chunk out of, messengers taste too syrupy"

Brekke is still eating, but is looking thoughtful about the topic.

"Was it only on Samhain? Or have you seen other mortals ravaged outside of that?"

"Not any others, no..."

A look at Sylvi. "Now, that sounds like an idea..."

"I mean, even mortally, I'm decently strong."

Sylvi nods. "And even if it's just a matter of being a witness, just being present, y'know, that would discourage lone attackers."

"DEFINITELY Strong," Siv says "And with some impressive skills and the boon to let you know liars"

"True. COwards won't usually strike a pair."

Brekke says, "If it is not frequent, then it may only be a matter of time for the mortal to recover. But it is best if the mortal is encouraged and nurtured to dream again."

"That is my thinking, at any rate."

Sylvi nods to Dagmar. "So, let's check it out when we get back on campus, okay?"

"So... try musing techniques, kinda, and see if they help. Can't hurt, I don't think."

"Dad's a Liam, if anyone can give you tips on restoring a ravaged person, if the person was ravaged, it's him"

Kerri says, "Well, it probably wouldn't hurt the dreamer, but I'm guessing if they're badly ravaged, you're going to find it frustrating and discouraging, because they might not respond right away. It would take patience."

Frank nods. "It is rare that a ravaged mortal will be able to Dream again. That is one reason Ravaging is anathema."

She grimaces.

Sylvi's brow furrows a little. "But...it's not impossible. We can try, right?"

"Very, very rare, Sylvi." grimly.

"Well...we're very, very rare," she says firmly to Dagmar. "We'll do our best."

"He just looks miserable."

"If you find there is some help we can offer," Brekke says, "you must tell me."

Frank nods. "I will see what resources I can find. My House has information."

Brekke nods to Frank. Sylvi gives him a grateful look.

Siv looks proud, then says "Sounds like Sylvi and Dagmar have a good plan to start for prevention of worse"

"Well," Sylvi says, "others started the whole escort thing. Maybe they're fae, but they might be mortals. But I'd be glad to take part in a good idea that's already underway."

"It does sound like a good idea." Jess adds.

"Tijuana would probably be WAY too big for a project like that," Sylvi says to Jess.

She nods. "It's a different challenge."

The meal is wonderful, discussion isn't ALL Serious but it is productive... and folks catch up on each other's lives.

Later, Dagmar might get a chance to talk to the CHief alone...
