Olgar winks back, and chuckles "i'm grateful for my favorite craft beer. Couldn't get it in crete"

Jess stands "I'm thankful for the welcome here. It's good to come back. I'm grateful for the love here. Thank you, all." and she sits.

Siv raises her glass to that

"I'm grateful for my family, and for having a home I know I can always come back to." Quietly.

Tove says "i'm grateful for too many things to list, so I guess... I'll just say family" A fond smile at Dagmar "A very brave family"

The expressions of thankfulness might continue for some time, but eventually they get down to the battle at hand -- Fae vs. the Thanksgiving feast. It's difficult to say which will win, though they might count on a certain redcap or two to help with the final round.

To be fair, an absolute victory isn't desirable - they need some prisoners... er.. leftovers.

Olgar digs in with gusto

Siv savors and chats, being the talkative one between bites "So Dagmar, Sylvi, college.. how hard is the study?"

"Um..." Sylvi glances over to where her parents might be listening, and says, "It's fine!"

A glance to Dagmar from Siv to see her answer

"I mean...it's a lot. But...it's fine." She sips her drink and takes another bite, then asks Siv, "What's the latest for you?"

"Yeah. Like Sylvi said."

She pokes at her yams.

"Well, I got drafted" Siv sas with a look at Vali letting her friends off the hook "but it's an honor too so I'm conflicted"

Vali eats his food, "You're a good pillar and I'm grateful for the aid"

"I could see you as a Pillar. You're good with lore and magic, and can navigate the Dreaming like a boss."

Siv blushes

"Dagmar's right," Sylvi says. "I mean, you know most of the stories already. And you look out for other people."

"Pretty sure that's the one thing I wouldn't go for."

"Hearth, Storm, I can pull my weight. Magic?" She shakes her head. "I get by."

Siv looks over at her mom and dad "I thought they were just rip roaring stories. I didn't realize it was an education. You two tricked me." Faux offended

Vali actually chuckles at that

A soft snerk.

Brekke chuckles slightly at Siv. "Your father and I are devious."

"Needs must." Frank rumbles.

Brekke looks to Frank and nods.

Siv huffs in troll ("Well, I love you all anyway. So there")

Smirk.

Tiffany says "Bit late for the thanks, but my damsel and I actually see each other and it leads to very Fiona things? Go Lions?"

Vali chokes "tiff"

Sylvi snickers and raises her glass in toast to Tiffany.

Siv says "Go Lions" and looks mollified

Brekke pretends she did not hear that part.

"We met a few fae at Rutgers. Mostly satyrs, so far."

Frank lavenders a little.

"And some dreamers," Sylvi adds.

Now a little frown.

"I... this isn't really holiday dinner stuff..."

Sylvi blinks. "Well... I mean, why not? We're talking about our lives and stuff. Oh, hey...I actually had an idea I wanted to run by you, Dagmar."

Vali says "Satyrs actually do pretty well in Academics. Professor Wayburton for example"

"No, sorry. I mean.. just... you saw that kid who got ravaged?"

She rubs the back of her neck. "Idea?"

At the word Ravaged, Olgar's brow shoots up

"Oh. Oh, yeah." Sylvi frowns.

Frank frowns, listening to Dagmar.

Kerri puts on her not-going-to-fuss-at-daughter face. "What happened?" she asks Dagmar.

Brekke also focuses on Dagmar, listening.

Tove and Jaymes have gotten quiet trying to look supportive
