Kerri leans back a bit. "Truthfully, I don't easily put the ideas of Mountain and Siv together. But she does have passion as well as a sense of duty, and she will serve as required." Satisfied.

"Gerd?"

"Gerd is now of the Hearth, or so she tells me."

"Gerd has been serving Hearth, yes," Kerri confirms...perhaps slightly territorially.

Frank watches them, and suggests "Basil McComrick."

Vali adds "I also worry that forcing her to play the role so close to Vegard would.... well, she sees a therapist for a reason." At the mention of Basil "Basil's with goldfinch mostly, and more storm "

"We could ask him if he is interested, though," Brekke says in support of Frank's suggestion.

"Mmm."

Vali shrugs "I don't think he has the troll lore Siv has. Be a lot of catch up for most non trolls sadly. But Symon and Zane did it, so it's not unheard of. By that logic, I could ask Jordan, but he's apparently a rover adjacent."

"Lily Thomas?"

That stops Vali and surprises him "mm.. a childling is a surprise but not forbidden"

Brekke mutters, "I think for Pillar, in support of Mountain, the lore need not be there to start. The willingness to serve is enough."

Then an interested look at the suggestion of Lily.

Kerri also looks interested. "Huh. That's...not a bad fit."

"Traditionally Mountain duties reqire some maturity at least wilder level, however, I concede Lily's very smart for her age, and could at least be a help with smaller duties. The problem is, will she sell our information on the sluagh market?" only half joking

"Hm." Kerri takes that seriously. "She might. If she has access to secrets."

"Then we cannot trust her."

"I think." A shrug.

"What about Jonas?"

"Rover," Brekke reminds what Vali said before.

A thought. "A DeBuke? One not already here?"

"Jonas, not Jordan" Vali says "I thought of Siv and Piper's gent. Not a bad guy. But without him, Anne Marie is overwhelmed. Jordan the centaur.. rover adjacent"

"Mm, yes. My mistake," Brekke mutters.

"Not your fault, Chief. Too many J names" He ponders "There is another option I hadn't considered before now"

Kerri says, "We're not going to take away any support from Anne Marie."

Firmly protective of the boggan.

"Which option?" Brekke asks Vali.

"What if she did not lose support?"

"I Have contacts in certain noble holds... Charm might have a suggestion of a talented troll who could help me"

Brekke looks up sharply, frowning.

A grunt.

"Look, not all Eiluned are bad... and maybe we'd at least get a kith sib wearing the black and silver moons" A shrug from Vali "I should have thought of it before. But if you want me to rule it out... or at least put it on the 'in case of emergency fine', let me know, Chief."

"DeBukes before Charm."

A nod "Okay. Though the DeBukes aren't without their own agenda"

"We are allies."

An amused look on Vali "And I have allies in Charm, but yes, less.. overall connection lodge to hold"

"Mmph." Brekke looks at her coffee.

"DeBukes before Charm" He repeats, "And.. Frank, you asked wat if taking Jonas didn't hurt Anne Marie's work load? What did you have in mind?"

"Ask any other of the many boggan kith to help Anne Marie."

Kerri frowns. "Jonas already knows how to do the work that Anne Marie needs. We would do better to ask a boggan to be a Pillar."

"Then do so."

"Actually, I just had another thought," Kerri says. "What about Holger? From Fenix?"

"Lucia is busy repping us to the Count at CF" a reminder "Ramona is... what what?" A smile " Ilike the kid. He's so gosh darn sincere I want to pinch his cheeks, which he would endure with suffering dignity . But isn't he a storm wanna be?"

"You could ask."

"You could ask Zane and or Symon to come back."

"Oh, you might be right," Kerri says to Vali. "Drat."

Brekke shakes her head. "DarkGate, and college. They have roles."

"Mm."
