"Brekke's here?" Frank lifts his eyebrows and looks for her car....

Indeed, Frank might hear Brekke's voice mixed with AnneMarie's, but almost certainly the boggan emerges first to see what's going on at her doorstep.

No car, but this isn't outside the realm of a patrol for her.

"What on Earth is going on out here?" Anne Marie comes out then sees Frank "oh Frank. " She calls back "Brekke, Frank is here!"

"Hello Anne Marie. This is Jodi."

"Hello Jodi" SHe says "Welcome to the world. Cleo told me about you"

Brekke emerges from the kitchen, standing behind AnneMarie. "Frank." A troll grin (mostly a wrinkling around the eyes). "And...Jodi?"

"Mm. Connor spotted Jodi. She's been under the care of a doctor for her anger issues. Turns out, that wasn't what she needed."

"Hi! Wow, you're big too" Jodi says

Brekke nods understanding to Frank, and then a more formal nod of greeting to the little redcap. "Greetings, Jodi. I am Chieftain Brekke. I am sorry we did not meet before this."

"It's okay. Mountain Vali says everyone's really busy but you'll find me a mentor"

"Hm." A nod, and she looks almost automatically to Dirk. "Peacekeeper, I believe you have some time available to take on the task."

"Oh NO, come on, Chief! I don't even LIKE Kids. I used to be one, they suck" Dirk laments

"DIRK" Anne Marie says

A brow. "I do not see how that matters. But in any case, it is a mentor's job to see that a childling learns how to..." a pause "...suck less."

"In truth, I cannot think of another Rivervaler more qualified to mentor a new redcap than you."

"I wanna be a GOOD Cap, you gotta teach me" Jodi says "Like how do I deal with feeling hungry all the time? How come I see something run from me I want to chase it more? How come I LIKE Connor, but I also like shoving him? Not too hard. How come I..."

Dirk groans "I should have goten to a college where itw as safe like Symon " HE looks at his mom, then at the Chief, then at Frank "Do I get paid for this?"

A nod to Jodi, and she says to Dirk, "I cannot answer these questions for her."

A brow at Dirk's question. "Payment is not customary...although Jodi may feel the urge to offer a gift in thanks at some point, when she is able."

She doesn't point out that Dirk could just as likely extort payment from Jodi in exchange for lessons.

"Huh" DIrk sighs "Fine. An hour a day I'll deal with the little Sh..."

"DIRK" Her mom warns

"Angel" He says

"That is generous, Peacekeeper. Jodi, you agree?"

"FINE, but not during playtime with other kids. I ain't got many friends and I'm not giving them up" A GLARE definat from Jodi

Dirk rolls hsi eyes "Whatever. Come on, let's start. " He motions her to walk with him

"Take some snacks" Anne Marie seems to produce a bag out of nowhere

Brekke nods approval at Jodi's boundary-setting, then watches them go off (with fortifications provided by AnneMarie). "I thought he would argue more," she comments quietly after they are out of earshot.

"Oh, He still will..." Anne Marie whsipers back "Jodi seems quite adorable.. if mildly terrifying"

"Mm." Agreement with AnneMarie.

"The Glamour of her Chrysalis gave me the power to create something for her. A hat. She can channel her anger into it; it will go from white to red, and she will have to experience and release her rage eventually, but for now it should help her moderate her impulses and stay out of her doctor's office." He fills them both in on the backstory, and Dr. Lee's help.

Brekke listens with interest. "That is a valuable gift for her," she says, approving. "Thank you for doing that, Frank."

"We must learn more of this doctor who medicated her. If he is doing the same for others, there may be more hidden fae than we know."

"Frank that's birlliant" Anne Marie says, then nods at Brekke's talk of the doctor "Oh yes, we didn't care for that doctor. We took Cleo to another"

Frank shares with them what he learned from Bruce's contact.

"Hm. Dangerous."

"Dauntain, you think?"

"I'll see what I can do to talk to Mr. Darling"

Frank rubs his beard "I don't know that I would say Dauntain. Not right off the bet."

She nods to AnneMarie. "Perhaps you can encourage him to bring Jodi to the doctor you chose for Cleo, instead."

"I'll try" A nod

"We must make certain. Hm...who would be best fit for such an investigation? I think Siv would object to us considering anybody other than her, but I do not like sending her into risk of great banality."

Frank agrees with a nod.

"Siv can be sent on another mission so she's 'already busy' if you don't mind me suggesting?" Anne Marie knows the parents likely have their own means

"Good idea."

"Of the others...I may be wrong, but Rikki seems greatly resilient, if she can be convinced to help."
