"Possibly because folks did not know of it's power at the time" Dika admits "When a Nunnehi dies, their treasures maybe burried by their non Nunehi off spring or family who know no better "

"Then...does this belong to the family of the buried one?"

"It belongs to them yes, or to the tribe" Dika nods "But yo usee why we couldn't let wichtels have it?"

"I see why it is a valuable treasure for the family or tribe, yes. Is there another factor I am missing?"

"Well, it's not theirs" Dika Hannah says "That's enough I thought?"

"It is, indeed." She nods.

"It is" Gerd nods "I got us out as they tried to take us in a fight. We were already heading out anyway"

"A timely exit. You are recovered, Gerd?"

"Thanks to that, yes. I have news of the Baron and events. It's been.. busy" Gerd says "Not nearly so courtly as I expected'

"I believe Sylvi discovered similar, when she was there. Tell me." She takes her seat.

"In this case, land slides, avalanchees and storms' Gerd answers "Flooding"

It would appear a lot of Mother nature went to hell while Gerd was there, and the poor girl has been working her ass off. But she's gotten friends and allies doing it
