Frank goes quickly to the Mountain's desk and writes down the questions and answers.

Jaymes nods impressed "Lots of answers out of that second try"

"Thanks to you. Maybe Brekke will have better luck if she tries it." as he writes.

Frank finishes and puts the note where Vali will find it. He slowly takes a seat, thinking.

Jaymes gets them both some coffee

"No, thanks Jaymes. Not this late. Appreciate it, though."

He nods and pours it back in to the pot, not like anyone touched it

"Frank. Whatever this is, it strikes me as ..."

The door swings open, Dirk comes in.. he's got a bandana tied around his arm tight

Frank looks up at Dirk enters, nods, and looks back at Jaymes.

"Did you get shot?" Jaymes asks Dirk

"Nah, stabbed. I got the broach" Dirk says

"Good work. Do you want healing?"

"I thought I'd stay by the fire so I'd get a good scar out of it? "He says hopefully "and.. don't tell mom?"

"Tell your mom what?" Frank gestures Dirk to the 'Fire.

"You're okay, Frank" Dirk grins and blops by the fire after handing the broach over

Frank examines it.

While he does not know her well, he is sure that the grandame sidhe depicted is indeed Adam's foster grandmother , a Fiona he believes

Frank stands and gets a piece of paper and a pen. He writes:

2. Foster Grandmother Broach
3. Lodge carving
4. EarthRunes postcard
5. Siv painting

He stares at it for a while. He has them in the right order of appearance?

he's not sure it seems. But he thinks so.

"I'm really tired" Dirk admits "But i kind of want to ask all sorts of obnoxious questions. Like, if Nab is a mortal now, I get why the liams would look out for her, but isn't she no longer under right of rescue?"

"Uncharted territory, Dirk."

"They're out of order chronologically, not that it makes any difference." he muses to himself "I wonder....."

Jaymes raises a brow

"Mmmph." He puts the list down, and takes a seat again.

"If you got ideas leave notes for the Mountains" Dirk suggests

"I think he already is, Dirk" Jaymes says

"Oh" Dirk says

Frank nods. "I am." he confirms.

"Oh well" Dirk shrugs it off

"You could do the same with your questions, if you wanted." Frank offers.

"Okay. " A nod "I will. "

Frank regards the list again, sighs, and puts it back on the desk for Vali. "Guess I should see if I can find Layne. You know where she might be, Dirk?"

"Probably at school unless it's over now"

Frank nods and gets his things. "I'll take the truck back and walk. Thanks for the help, Jaymes."

Grunt nod ("Anytime")

Frank nods back to Jaymes, includes Dirk in it, and heads out; first, drop off the truck and then, look for Layne.
