Frank arrives at the lodge minutes later... Oak barking a hello

He paces up from the parking lot to the Lodge, painting under one arm. "Hello boy. All is well here?"

Oak wags, no blood on his muzzle, must be okay

"Mmm." Frank lets himself into the Lodge, setting down the painting before toeing off his boots.

And in he goes, to find Gerd talking to Eulalie "Well, if you're interested then.. oh, Hi Frank" SHe turns and smiles "Let me get you soem coffee. I'm on hearth duty tonight"

"I know Kerri is more focused with you here, Gerd. Thank you. Siv here?"

"Actuall yes. She's upstairs. If you hurry you might catch her"

An eyebrow "She's going some.... where's she going?"

"I don't know, she was just getting geear to go"

Siv comes down the stairs, armed and armored

"Siv, I need a few minutes of your time." Frank says "Won't take long."

She stops "Uhm.. sure Da" She looks at Gerd and Eulalie then back at her dad "Do we need to go somewhere private?"

"We can go into the kitchen, sir" Eulalie says

Frank nods to Gerd and Eulalie.

And so they do. "Thanks, " Siv says to both of them as they go then turns to her dad "Sounds serious?"

"Could be. Do you know a woman...." and he describes Her.

"Doesn't ring a bell" Siv ponders "I know some redheads but not many around here"

Frank nods, motions her over, and shows her the painting.

"Hey that's the Narwhal" Her eyes widen "Who...did that girl paint this?"

He puts the carving of the Lodge on the table.

"Please tell me TOve or Dagmar did this carving?"

"They were both in the same shop. Basil found the carving, I found the paining when I was looking to see where and how the carving came to be. The woman I described brought the painting it, got $40 for it. I didn't ask about the carving, didn't want to tip our hand."

"The shop owner suspicious?"

She looks both over, kenning them "Both are dross"

"Don't think so and I wanted it to stay that way. Yes, they are. There's another piece there, too, which is also suspicious. You sure you don't recognize the description? Ignore the hair, hair can be changed."

A brow lift "Ya do remember my strongest art is Metamorphisis?" But she closes her eyes and ponders "Sorry Da, it's not enough for me to go on to whittle it down "

"Ok, Siv, can't blame you on that." A deep breath "I can put out the word with agencies to look for her, let me know. We can bring Anne Marie in, see if she can get word on it. We can patrol looking for her and maybe put a rotation of watchers on the shop."

"Damn. Do I have time to visit Firnost?"

"Yes. I'll need to talk to Vali and then Gerd and Dagmar, if she's in town. Otherwise Vali and Gerd will have to figure it out."

"Dagmar's still out at COllege orientation I think"

Frank nods, scrubs his face with his hands and then finds his tiny phone. "I'll call Vali. Stay safe, and when you are done will you come check in?"

"I can post pone the firnost trip" SHe says "if you need. Should we tell the Baron Kealan? He's spy master for the Count. Or is this local only?"

"Siv, you now know as much as I do. If you don't know those answers, I don't either." he dials, carefully.

"Local for now then" She says

Valli picks up "Vali here"

"Frank. Good time?"

"Good as it gets. What's up, Frank?"

"We have a situation here. Can you come to the Lodge?"

"on my way"

And he hangs up

Frank makes sure the painting is covered, and repockets the carving. Then gets a glass of cider.

Siv looks reluctant to depart for Firnost and leave them in a lurch

And that's when Vali enters in

Frank does a similar show and tell for Vali. "I needed to let Siv know for her safety. I needed to let you know, because you're Mountain and the other parts of your triad are away from the Lodge, or filling in. And I don't know who's taking Dagmar's duties as Storm."

A brow "Interesting, with Olgar south we're limited" He ponders "who's in charge right now?"

"Ah, I think.." Siv says "I think you are, Mountain. least until the Hearth gets back or the Chief"

Frank nods agreement with that. "You're the Mountain. Part of the Triad. Gerd, others, they're filling in. Dagmar's away getting settled at school. It's you."

"So before we didn't have enough patrols, now we have plenty of patrols but not enough folks in charge" Vali looks...amused "Frank, Siv, what's to keep me from pointing one of you temporary Storm on this?"

"For my part? Only my objection, although I will serve the Lodge in anyway needed." Frank says.

"Can you think of someone better qualified who IS here, Frank?" Vali asks
