"Get lost" The chimera says "Tell him to get lost"

"Get lost" She says snapish, irritable

"Take the flowers. They were sent special."

"You don't deserve them" The creature whispers to her

"Give them to someone else who.. deserves them" She is really in that thing's grip, in mor way than one

"Have to deliver it to the address and name on the card. See?" he turns the 'arrangement' to show her something that isn't REALLY there....

SHe looks, leaning closer.. the Chimera now in reach "Look, this isn't MY problem..." She starts to snap a bit, tired and worn and hurt and hating herself

Frank moves to hand her the arrangement; he wouldn't normally do this but she needs Enchantment badly, to see the danger she's in. If she will 'take' the flowers, the Glamour will flow.

She backs up... "Leave me alone!"

"Sorry, it wobbled. How about I just put it down inside...." he tries to wedge in just a bit, since she's away from the door, and bends to 'set' the flowers down.

That he can do.. the chimera hisses to her 'Call the police ..he's some sort of stalker"

"You some sort of stalker?" She repeats the words like they were her own "Drop them. Get out. Or I'm calling the cops!"

He holds up his hands. "Ok, ok... no, like I told you, I'm with St. Jude's Helping Agency. We were in touch before, remember? After....." he trails off awkwardly "We said we'd check in with you?"

"GET OUT!" She yells..frayed, snapping

and reaches for a phone

She is so deeply in thrall of that .. that THING it seems she is barely a whole person

Frank curses inwardly and boots the flowers at her, stepping inside and shutting the door before turning to remove the phone from her grip.

If she -catches- the flowers... then maybe... but if she wards them off or they just strike her... then no.

It is the Chimera that catches the flower, striking it, sapping it of glamour to fuel itself 'Tasty... leave now, she's mine!"

Frank has the phone, and a terrified mortal woman

"I'm not going to hurt you." he assures her calmly, pocketing the phone "I want to take the hurt away. Here. Take my hand." he offers it.

"don't trust him, he can't want to help you" The thing whispers "you're beyond help"

Instead.. she huddles and begins to sniffle

He fumbles in his pocket "Here." a bandana; a gentleman's offer.

"Just.. don't hurt me... even though I deserve it. I deserve to die"

"I won't hurt you." he repeats calmly "Take the bandana."

that's when the centipede sees it, and starts to move first, to drain glamour from that TOO

Frank smiles grimly; it'll have to take it from him, which means he can grab it. That's the plan; let's see what the dice say?

It lurches out, Frank grabs... and.. misses! As it bites the bandana and drains it! More glamour gone to his enemy!

The woman sees Frank lungew and screams!

Increasingly agahst at the debacle this is becoming, Frank grabs for the skuttling horror around her neck, but for the TAIL of it. He hopes to whip it off her neck and into a wall to stun it.

It seems surprised by this very direct action and Frank gets her first lucky break snagging it's tail and smacking it against the wall

Frank is gratified as it hits, makes a crack ssound and sputters puss.

but it is not dead.. yet

"The woman is mine..." It hisses "Her despair is my meal! But if I can't feed long, I can feed strong..." It turns not to him, but the woman and orders "Kill yourself, it's the only way to be free of the fear, free of your uselesness life"

And the woman starts to comply, looking for something sharp.. and not to use on frank

Frank stomps on its head.

It's long, he can drop the head to the floor and crush it under his boot.

One blow it could take, the other? No.. He kills it.. reclaiming his stolen glamour

but the woman looks for a knife, ready to finish herself off, the command lingering

Frank drops the mangled thing and steps forward. "Stop." he says calmly. "What is your name?"

She doesn't stop, heading into the kitchen

He follows and intercepts, blocking with his body if he must.

He does not, has not, touch her. Yet.

He knows she's heading for the knives. So he blocks it

Holding his hands up, palms out towards her, about chest-level "What's your name? Tell me your name." He coaxes.

"WHY are you doing this? You want me to suffer more? WHy are you terrorizing me???"

"I'm sorry, I really am." he pauses, quietly frustrated, and rubs his forehead "This didn't go the way I thought it would but I honestly do want to help you. Look, my name is Frank. What's yours?"

"Rachel" She says "There, you've got my name.. get out.. leave me be'

"Things bad bad boss?"A voice.. Blinkums has come in "Saw you were have hard time time"
