Frank watches them go, nonplussed, then continues on patrol.

And so Frank patrols. Things seem good. The area is not too grey, banality wise.. while not full of dreamers it has a few. Chimera, of the more benign sort, frolic here and there. Imaginary friends followings kids, a chimerical halo of romantic glow about a couple holding hands, the purplesnorklewhacker waves

That last one gets a second look.

It speeds up. As a keeper of the anxiety closet, it's not always welcome, but it can be reasoned with, or told to pipe down

Does it seem to have a target or special interest?

Nope. Mostly trying to get distance from the Liam.

It's not a full blown nervousa... but Frank might make a mental note to keep an eye on it. It can help folks face their axieties, or it can make them worse.

And, at least it's seen Frank and knows it's been seen.

Yes. No doubt if the Purplesnorklewhaker has an anxiety closet, there's an image of Frank in there now.

"Boss" A happy chimerical voice. A stump sized mopstly eyeball chimera greets him, BLinkum? Oh yes, created by Leech, freed with his end, and now helping around the neighborhood. He has been reported as...well, keeping an eye out

"Hello, Blinkum. How are you?"

"Blinkum good boss. Yes. Seen things. Eye out. But glad for boss patrol. Thought you boss should know know about bad bad? Inside house home, so you no see out here place."

Blinkum has no shame in prying around places. After all, he was once in McGillicudy's laundry

Frank nods. "Why don't you show me?"

"Ah, yes yes yup, follow... " And he scrambles towards a house.

He hears muttering from a window, a human voice, but also a chimerical one.

He can't make out every word... but 'worthless' comes up, and 'useless'

Blinkums touches him, "Let you see see with my eye eye" And his magic goes into effect, allowing Frank to see through the wall

Frank sees something that looks like a chimerical centipede, at meter long, curled about a 30 year old daughter who looks like she has neglected her health and hygene recently. She cannot see the nervousa, but it feeds on her... leeching glamour ... self worth

"useless" It whispers to her... "useless" She nods without realizing she's agreeing with something beyond herself

"Mm..." he rumbles; the sight is enough to cause any Liam trouble. "Blinkums, I'm going to intervene; you take care of yourself."

He heads up to the door and knocks.

"OKay kay, boss boss. Careful be" And the little guy whistle backs up leaving it to the expert

He knocks. Solid enough.

But no one responds. He can see the thing whispering in her ear, blinkum's link still like a third eye for him... whispering.. no doubt telling her there's no point

He knocks again.

A tired voice 'Who is it?"

"Special delivery." Frank calls.

A groan.. "fine. a moment"

Frank slicks his hair back with a little spit, and conjurs an image of a massive flower arrangement.

And the lady opens it. She is bedraggled, needs a shower.. and around her neck is that THING. WHispering in her ear "You survived the housefire... your children didn't. what kind of mother let's her kids DIE? You don't deserve to live ... "

She however looks at the flowers 'I'm.. afraid you have the wrong house?"

"I don't." he says; a gentle giant "My name is Frank. I'm with St. Jude's Helping Agency. May I come in?"

"Now's.. not a good time" She mutters

the chimera panics, and whispers "Send him away. He can't help you, no one can"

"I can help you." Frank says in a soft rumble "That's what we're here for."

"I... I'm fine" She whimpers almost "Not injured."

"Of course." Frank says, but doens't move.

"Send him away...." the Chimera writhes "You don't DESERVE help. Baby killer"

"You need to go.." She crumbles a bit, hating herself , the nervousa like a leech taking self worth from her

"Please let me in. My job might depend on it. You wouldn't send me away if I need this to keep my job, would you?"

"See how selfish he is? Even he doesn't care.. just here for the paycheck" the nervousa hisses in her ear

"Not my problem" She tries to close the door, failing to rally the will to resist the chimera's rede

"At least take the flowers, Hm?" Frank urges her; going to be had to close the door with his foot there.
