Symon is sympathetic. “Mom goes through the same thing. You need to delegate. Everyone knows you can help, but not everyone NEEDS your help. Like, triage the support, and hand some off, so everyone gets help and you handle the most important.”

He glances over. “Siv.” Nodding

"Hey, Symon" Siv moves, favoring her left arm.

Vali says "MMM might ask you to text, Symon. Not sure folks will hear you o the phone- no offense""

“What happened?” He asks, keen eyes noticing her arm.

To Vali, “I can be heard on the phone. Bigger issue is them squawking back at me, but I can handle the volume.” Even as he slinks over towards Siv.

Smell of blood in the air at all?

"Oh, just a bit stiff" She says

He was wise to sniff, despite her assurance it's just sttifness, he smells blood

“Sure, piss on my leg and tell me it's a warm summer rain.”

Siv whispers "not now"

“Siv’s here.” He changes his tactics smoothly. “Let her take the phones.”

Vali arches a brow, pretty perceptive "Will do. I need to head out anyway . I need to see if I can ease the magics at their souce" He sighs "trod work I suspect"

"Ah, sure, Mountain" siv says moving to the phone

Symon slinks along. Once they are alone, “you’ve been up to something. I want to know what.”

"I got in a fight" Siv says "typical for Fiona"

“You’ve been busy lately. Moonlighting somewhere else?”

He plucks lightly at her sleeve. “I can smell the blood. How bad is it?”

"Pin prick, honest." She makes a swat motion at her sleeve "As for moonlighting, I do my dutties here. What's with the scrutiny?" A brow

“When someone's habits change, I notice.”

“We've worked together before. We made a good team. Do you want a cookie, and the off chance someone will ask who got hurt, or let me take a look at it?”

Symon might hear Kerri-sounds in the kitchen...and ah, yes, a kettle is just about to whistle.

Siv actually looks a bit guilty "I'm sorry, you're right. I should't brush you off like that. I.. oh, Kerri's here. Look, short version? I'm part of a crime figghtig trio in anotherr part of Concordia. It's a blast, but if ohers find out I'll be in trouble so I have to hide the wounds a bit more rather than easy healing"

“You’re forgetting something.” He smiles a bit. “Goldfinch. They might ask fewer questions, and Sylvi can heal as good as any.”

Apparently the kettle (caught just as it began to whistle) was for the preparation of hot cocoa, if Symon's nose has it right.

"I actually have been usinng it a bit but the fire is small and others need it"

He sniffs the air, a little bit of a wrinkled nose.

“Hold on.”

Moving into the kitchen, he taps on the door to announce himself.

Looking at the stove- a cup of cocoa being made, or a whole pot?

Kerri looks over her shoulder. "Hello, Symon." Looks like a large serving jug of cocoa -- how does she keep it perfectly warm? "Can I make you some tea?"

Siv has been answering the phone

“I’m good for now. Hey, are you able to add a little extra to that pot?” Fingers wiggling expressively.

“ Judging by the calls coming in, it’s going to be a hell of a day, and the snow is still falling. A touch of Balm might bolster stamina?”

"Just...across the board? Well...that's not exactly how it works. That's more like what Sylvi can do."

“Mm.” He says. “An extra batch of cookies might not be a bad idea. The phones have been off the hook.”

"Good idea. So, we have these...." She takes a tin down from a shelf and opens it to do a quick inventory. "I can certainly make more," she says, turning her back to check ingredients...and leaving the tin open on the table.

"Ho.. hot fruit..." from outside

His hand slides a few into a pocket smoothly. Thought, the tin rattles just so. He’s more nimble fingered than that, isn’t he?

“ I'll leave you to it.”

If Kerri notices, she doesn't comment. She's turning back to him when the call of the frozen chimera reaches them. "Hmmm. I thought Snow Monkeys were used to much colder weather than this."

"Hey Kerri..."

"In the kitchen!" she calls out.

"Warm.. fruit, only ch.. chance for survival" Snow says, wrist to forehead

Then "Sorry, Symon," at having called without warning him.

Connor clarifies, “She was SWIMMING.”

Symon flicks a gesture of “no worries” and has rejoined Siv, who now has a cookie in her pocket.
