And the Shadowpaw/hoof clan slips away to... "Where ARE we going anyway?" Lane asks

Lily whispers "I only arrange escapes, I don't lead. that's connor's job"

Brogan mmmphs "We could go to the scene of the crime but it's probably been picked clean already"

"The first step is to gather more information." He says, reasonably. "People talk around kids all the time. Maybe we can find out who might have wanted DeBuke Mountain to landslide."

"Well, Teaneck does the spying" Brogan ponders "We could visit the spymaster's place?"

"Or go to Caer Falken and see what folks serving the count are saying there?" Jack ponders

"Not so much spying, but find out maybe if anyone has been talking?"

"Both good ideas!"

"Well I am going to spy. I need the practice" Lily says

"You'd be awful at that." Tail wags.

She smiles toothlessly

"But which one?" Lane asks

Connor considers. "They will be LOOKING for Spys at the spymaster. So we could go there just to say hi and hang out with Teaneck kids, see what there is to hear." His ears flip back and forth.

"And Caer Falken can get the spying!" He grins to Lilly, but waits to hear here opinion?

Lily looks proud "I shall spy upon falcons, while you all warmly chat up the spies. Symmetry which means we are Symply too clever" Naturally she's got a master on language

That agreed, they split, with the kids heading towards Teaneck... and heading. .. and heading..

"I wish we could drive" Jack sighs

"WHy did they move it all the way to the other barony?" Lane asks

Brogan ponders "I could ask my folks but they'd wonder why"

"If only Gerd didn't have to be a Wilder, she'd understand. Someday I'll have a flashy tail and then I can whisk us here and there!"

"Well, there is one other way... but it will be hyard on Lane"

"I'll risk it" Lane says

And so, the kids end up slipping onto the bus by portal passaging under it. The one going to Teaneck

But the centauress gets twitchy as others crowd on

Connor announces, "Ewww, someone peed back here." Loud enough for the passengers to hear, if not the driver...

He fidgets as though scooting away from somethign gross on the floor.

Folks get off the bus a bit early or at least move to the front

Lane beams at Connor "Oh captain, my captain"

"Good thinking" Jack admits.. As the bus makes it towards Teaneck, dropping off at the place nearest to the Super Sekret Spy Master's place!
