"Mmph. Just glad whatever is happening, they ain't here."

"The DeBukes are going to want to go to war"

Grunt. ("Duh")

"Mmm.. worried they'll be a bit..rushed"

"well, if they get the wrong Thallian, is that bad?"

"Not to me, but I'm biased. Some think Thalliann are still part of the Dreaming. Me? I think they're cancer.. that's part of the body too. You cut or burn it out it before it kills the body."

"Right."

She frowns. "I wouldn't want to kill them, like, mortally."

"Probably best not to. " She wrinnklers her nose "Can't learn from the permanently dead. "

"I feel bad enough killing chimerically. Makes me throw up, usually."

"You've got a kind heart" she says after considering

"I just hope they don't take advantage of it" She adds "me? I have good reason to hate them"

She considers. "Just... ain't like they get to choose what they are."

"You put down a rabid dog because it's dangerous, because it can't be cured. But... you can't hate a rabid dog, can you?"

"If it it kills your parents you might... but I see your point" begrudging

"I see why, yeah. But I guess it's not... not helpful, hating them. Not for me."

"For me, better to hate them than being terrified of them so I just keep runnning"

"It feels too close to when I get angry, and angry enough that I hurt everyone."

"Oh.. yeah" A nod

She nods. "Yeah, I can see that."

"Guess we botth have reasons for .. how we do it"

Dag nods and gives Stormwake a genial slap to send him off to his loose box.

Stormwake nuzzles her, and heads off with the gentle whap

She secures the stable for the night - after past incidents, there are protections.

"Want me to put Edweleiss here?"

"There's the cameras... but a little extra wouldn't hurt right now. And Edie is better than any electronics."

"I am totally okay if we are just being paranoid."

"Oh yeah, better safe than sorry. I'll go get her. you go in and report to the Chief?"

With that plan in motion , the two part, one to get a dog, the other to report on patrols. Food will be served to both
