A frown. "Where is Mountain Vali?"

"He's been casting spells and inducing a vision " Tove says "he's here somewhere"

She furrows her brow and nods. "If we do not hear from him soon, seek him out."

"Yes, Chief" She nods

"Shall I go find him?" Frank rumbles quietly.

"I do not want to disturb his casting," Brekke says, "but I also wish to know he is well."

From behind the couch on the floor "I'm here. I'm fine."

Those peeking over the couch see him laying there, eyes fluttering open

A blink, and she leans to look behind the couch.

A shrug to Frank. "He is fine."

"I think I found the last surviving dustbunny" He rises slowly

"It better stay hidden, then," Kerri says as she brings out a tray of the Farm's bounty. She sets it on a table and gives Jaymes a look before adding to Vali, "Do you need something to drink or eat, Mountain?"

"Mm. Mission accomplished." Frank observes, and glances curiously at Kerri before settling back down.

"Drink would be good. I feel parched" He has gotten up "Thank you. Unfortunately, my casting results were unpleasant but not so helpful. "

"What can you share?" Brekke asks as Kerri goes to get Vali that drink.

"I donn't think the Thallian will know much, visions indicated a gathering of masks ..." A shake of his head "I think the agent won't be able to name who sent her."

Jaymes frowns

Some noises outside as patrols return.

Brekke nods grimly.

Kerri returns with a glass that she hands over to Vali. "You should probably eat, too."

"...can't believe she acted like that before the Chief.." Tig's voice/ "You're exagerating.. again" lut's

the new Mountain nods "Bend my arm" A swig, VERY thirsty then nnods "Okay, and thank you, Hearth. I suppose I could"

Brekke goes to meet the patrols, opening the door to welcome them in.

Lut says "Tig ttells me Thane Isla was.. challenging, Chief?"

A brow. "Not excessively. How was patrol?"

"Uneventful" Tig says "We checked on a few dreamers, no sign of ravaging"

"Apartment /Goldfich Crew wants to help you" Lut says

A nod, and a grin at the mention of offers of help. "By supporting their locals, they are helping. I do not want to take resources from either, but I will not deny them the right to assist on patrols, either."

Vali has a plate of food and looks up from a table "Annyone contact Sylvi?"

Kerri looks at Lut, "I'm assuming you spoke to her...?"

"Spoke to Linwood, he said he'd tell her. "

She's already fishing out her phone. "Excuse me," she says as she goes into the kitchen to text.

Brekke nods to Kerri, but gives her the space to make contact. Then a sigh. "With all this, I am sorry that the fledges' celebration has been compromised by trouble."

"Ah, it's typical " Jordan trots in with Olgar "See, once again, my pessimism protects me"

"Get your ass in there" Olgar shoves him further in "You're happy to be sained you're just trying to act cool"

"Yeah yeah" the hair fluffed centaur rubs his head

A nod to the latest arrivals. "I hear a trod was closed."

Kerri returns from the kitchen, clearly relieved but trying not to show she was concerned. "Sylvi says all's well at Goldfinch, and some of them will be covering the eastern border on the next patrol."

"Yep . Reopened it" He says "tell me if I need to close it again. I want to travel it, patrol that"

"Not alonne you don't" the Centaur says "Or why did I learn how to dream craft?"

"Yes, patrol there," Brekke nods to Olgar and Jordan. "Both of you. It may be coincidence or intentional distraction, or it might be significant."

They turn , ggrabs snacks, Olgar kisses his wife, annd then hey ggo...

leaving the Chief to talk to othter incoming patrols and Kerri to feed the squads

And both do exactly that.

Frank gathers his boots, jacket, and tire tapper to go on patrol, slipping out quietly.

Outside the lodge, "I can't believe McGillicudy yelled us when we made sure she was okay" Gerd huffs at the stable

"I can. She's always like that." Dag strips the tack from the stallion, and sets to brushing him down.

Stormwake has served well, no complaints, and nuzzles her in thanks for the brushdown

"You'd think just once she'd give bitch mode a power down" Gerd mmphs
