Gerd rolls her eyes 'Fiona"

"Proud of it" siv smiles

"Ha."

Gerd chuckles "Okay. Well, I'll ask Connor. " Sheepish "I do miss Wudlig"

Siv says "Course you do"

"But I'm STILL Miffed he left darkggate" Gerd says

"Why?"

"Because Dark Gate needs him more" Gerd frowns "Annd he said he'd help them"

"He did" Siv points out "Lots of work done"

"Nockers ain't trolls."

"And Dougal seem pretty pragmatic - how does Hewitt feel about it?"

"Oh, like he got pinched, I think" Gerd says "But.. not too upset. Less than I am actually"

"Yup. Pragmaic" Siv agrees

"Are we sure DarkGate was a good fit for him? Would be harder to lure him away otherwise - but, well, Lodges can be tough for non-trolls."

"Like... I'm welcome at Goldfinch, but it's... y'know?"

"Oh Goldfinch is fun" Siv beams, thenn a bit of a grumble "Even if Sylvi has kidnapped my girlfrrriend for music lessons"

"And an Ailil hold is?" Gerd says, but she squirms a bit. Clearly Dagmar is making SOME points

"Well, his house is kinda both AIlil and Dougal..."

"I don't like Aiden, but he seems to do right by his people."

"I confess" Siv says "Learning the man had his minnd messed with... it...explains a lot, maybe even excuses it?"

Gerd frowns then says "So maybe I'm looking for an excuse to hold a grudge because he neglected Connor?"

"Possibly. I don't forgive him for that, and he needs to step the fuck up."

"Maybe" Siv points out "he's trying to. He clearly hopes his son will show up, even if he's being round about"

"mmphh" ("Maybe he should be direct.") Gerd observes

"Ailil stubborn pride." Says the Gwydion.

Siv looks amused at something but concedes "Most Ailil would rather lose a limb than admit they screwed up"

"Exactly. So if he doesn't ask directly, he can't be snubbed."

"Like a damn crab, going sideways."

Gerd snorts but seems to agree

Siv says "Perhaps, but love can salvage even him"

"For Connor's sake." Harrumph.

"I gotta get this fripperie off the horses."

A wave, and she's back to work!

"Right!" And the two wish her well and leave her to her work
