Frank nods. "Yep. Sign of the time. I go back to work Monday."

"Good luck with that Ravager" He nods

Siv blinks "Ravager?" A look to her dad

"Ravager?" Frank rumbles.

"Yeah, guess you hadn' heard. There's a trucker going around offering rides to strangers, playing up the whole 'knight of the road' angle...then he ravages them for the glamour. I don't know the kith. Happeninng in New York state."

Frank's expression settles into very grim lines. He nods. "Thank you for that information, Zane."

"You'rre welcome, Frank. You want me to see what else I can learn?"

Siv brow shoots up

"If it's not any trouble, more info couldn't hurt."

"Will do. I know some boggans who migght be hooked into the New York state gossip chain"

"Very useful, Zane" Siv nods

"They can be" He nods "I imagine Frank's got better contacts among fellow drivers"

AGAIN Siv raises a brow

"I know some guys." he admits.

Siv says "Course you do" A proud thing "Experienced trucker, annd a knigh"

"The knight part doesn't make that much of a difference on the road, Siv. But thank you."

"Mmm" Siv grunnts ("Might matter here")

"Well... it's good to see you both again, wish I wasn't the bearer of bad news "

"Mm. News. Not sure if it's good or bad yet, Zane. Have to see how it turns out."

A nod "Well, I'm here for two more days so..." He nods then looks aorund "Either of you see mistletoe here?"

"Try Buster" Siv says "That old tree that's been hit by Liigthning ttwice and still standing?"

Frank nods. He's not Mountain, but he remembers.

"Buster hasnn't fallen over yet? " He says 'How does it.. right. Stubborn oak"

A soft chuff.

"Mom adores Buster. I think she heather balms him now and then" Siv smiles

Frank's expression won't tell, if he knows.

"Really?" he asks

"I don't know, she won't fess up" Siv says with a huff.

Zane grins

"Well, forgive us... but we're hiking so good luck mistletoe gatheing" Siv waves to Zan

Frank nods to Zane. "Stop by the Lodge; you're welcome there, Zane."

"Thannks but first, Buster"

Frank nods and he and Siv move on.

Siv mmmphs once tthey're out of ear shot "'Frank?. He's callingg you FRANK now is he? How about Mr. King if he's over Sir."

"Doesn't bother me, Siv."

"Makes me want to grab him by his horns" Grumble

"Up to you. Doesn't bother me, though." he repeats.

"Mm well, I remember when all he knew were coin tricks. Sure his dad taught him but so did you"

"Proud to have had the honor."

"Nothing much fazes you does it?" A pause "Aside frrom me sunning myself on your truck"

"I try to approach life with a steady eye, and a steady hand. That said, I -am- protective of the means of my livelihood, yes."

A nod and smile "Because you want to provide for us. Papa Bear"

"Mm."

The view of one strip of wild is fantastic, ever greens in the wind.

"Oh, we'll need a yule tree won't we?"

Frank nods. "Brekke and I will probab..... Mm. Storm, Mountain, and Hearth will sort it out."

"Dad. you're allowed to help with a yule tree."

"Be happy to."

"Mom always picks the tree with you. No reason for that to change"
