"So how did you like Thanksgiving, Dad?"

Siv asks her father

"It was wonderful to spend time with everyone." he rumbles as he sweeps the Lodge floor "You?"

"It was lovely" A smile as she picks things up "But I need to hike a few miles to burn calories"

"Want company?"

"Love to" She says "Piper is snnnoozing and I don't want to wake. Turkey coma"

"Let's go." he takes his tapper, slips on his boots and a jacket, and gets the door.

Siv puts on her uggs and goes out. rapier at side

And they walk. A leisurely patrol.

There are wild turkey chimera wandering about... now that it's safe for them to do so. Turkey season is over right?

"Someone's cocky" Siv observes

One turkey struts giving them the eye

Frank gives it an eyebrow back.

It squawks and backs up into the crowd of it's peers

A snerk "Like a high school boy"

As they move on, they can see winter is still at bay, high 40s, no snow... it wants to be winter... but not yet

They take the nature trail over

the suburbian options. Siv moves on "Always good to have Jessica visit"

"It is. But we can't expect it too often; she has a county and people depending on her."

"Yup. Trying to establish peace and more..."

Frank shakes his head. "Must have got that from her mother."

"Possible..." A nod "And with the dragon hanging over, lots of pressure"

"Seems we have a family history with dragons."

"I know, righ"

"Mm."

Foot steeps, hoof steeps?

Frank indicates the direction of the sound with a tilt of his head, and his tapper is in hand (but not at the ready).

Siv's hand goes to her rapier

but she doesnn't draw it

"Come on," A voice can be heard "Mistle toe. How hard can it be to finnd mistle toe?"

Familiar?

OH yes. It's Zane!

A glance at Siv, a nod, and they continue.

Siv looks up at her dad, "mmm" (Should say hi?)

Frank nods. (Probably.)

"Hey, Zane! How's the fam?" She calls out

"Siv?" A voice "hey.." Trotting, annd out comes Zane. Broader shoulder, got a soul patch, and he sees Frank "Mo.. ah Sir Frank. "

The grump nods. "Zane. Happy Thanksgiving."

The young man straightens up a bi, then says "And to you both as well. And my family is fine, thank you. They've had dinner with the Thomases"

A sober moment, and then Frank nods. "Good."

"Hope you guys are doing well?" He inquires. "I mean, the old RV thriving?"

"Don't know I'd say it's old." Frank says mildly "But yes. Good Thanksgiving, everyone home... if you like, stop by and say hello."

"I will," he nods "And sorry, I meant it affectionately. I have a lot of good memories there"

"You're still welcome anytime" Siv assures him

Frank nods agreement.

"I admit it, I miss you guys."A look to Frank "Sorry for satyr Drama, sir. I'm learning a bit abou what kind of pressue goes into a full job"

He offers out a hand "I hope you're loving the life on the road"

Frank shakes the little hand carefully "No need to apologize, Zane. But, if it makes you feel better, apology accepted. It's good to be working steady again."
