"Thank you" She doesn't seem to hear, or chooses not to hear, the judgy comment, and she sips "This is a good press. Was there something on.. .Smith? A computer jack?"

Tig looks over "They wanted to know if it was raining in Botswanna?"

"No, it's a dry wind" She answers

Tig speaks into the phone "She says no it's a dry wind" he waits, then calls to Frank "They say that's her"

"Thank you, Tig."

"Your man is here...." Frank leads her to the eshu "He said he had some computer part, yes. Still has it, to the best of my knowledge."

She searches him, and finds it, then takes it "And no one else touched this?"

She looks at both Frank and Tig

"I did not."

Tig looks tempted to sass, but says "me neither"

"Excellent," She tucks it away.

"You want to look at the actual person maybe?" Tig adds as the computer bit seems to be coming first

"Calm yourself, Thane Tig" She touches Smith's brow "We know how to heatherbalm in Teaneck as well." She concentrates, and contrary to her no nonsense attitude, her bunk is amusing as she hums the tune to 'Secret Agent man'

She frowns as the wounds only heal a bit more

But smith wakes up "Ow... oh, Isla. Hi" he groans "Did you get it?"

"Yes, I got it," She nods, "Unfortuantely my heatherbalm was.. quite weak." A frown "I'm sorry, you're still rather damaged"

"Smith can remain here until he's well enough to travel."

Smith looks at her, "If that's okay, Isla?"

Isla frowns, "You are a possible source of intell for enemy forces, Smith. If you were abducted from here, it could compromise what you found. I.."

Tig's eyes narrow "It's a troll lodge. We are some of the finest warriors in Bergen, our kith is attentive second only to sluagh. And he's our guest. No one's going to touch him."

Isla looks dubious, but then looks to Frank to see if he agrees

Hard to read an expression under that beard, but Frank says "He is safe here."

"However, he works for the Baron of Teaneck and should obey his will."

"If you say he's safe, Sir Franklyn. The baron has always trusted your judgment. Though he did complain when you retired. He had to change a lot of paper work to get a profile set up on the lodge with Sir Vali as mountain" A twitch of amusement as if she finds her boss's 'problem' just a bit funny. A bit. Only for a sec "He can stay here then now that I know he'll be safe."

Tig's left eye twitches a bit for some reason

"Mm. The baron needn't go to any effort on my account."

"Well, I have a great whilte cloud with fangs near me looking ready to jump anybody who hurts me" Smith looks at Oak with a smile, "I think I'll be fine. Don't tell my sister I was hurt?"

Isla shakes her head "She already knows."

"Damn," Smith says

"Smith, may I ask a question?"

"Sure" Smith says

"How did you get on my roof?"

"HOp scotch, jumped from a bridge" he answers, "Relied on my magic gloves to hold on. THey let me stick like a spider"

Frank nods. "Thank you."

Isla looks to Frank, "Sir Franklyn, would you have me pass any other words to the Spymaster? "

"No, thank you."

She nods "Smith, do becareful of being too free. And defer to Agent Siv if she comes in."

"Agent Siv?" Tig blinks

"Mmphm."

"-When.-" Frank says dourly.

"I'm not at liberty to discuss that more, Thane Tig.. " Then she nods to Frank "When" And moves to the door "Thank you again, Rivervale." And steps out

"Safe travels, Isla."

Once she's gone, Tig snorts and grumbles

Smith seems to translate the grumbling "Yes, an ice cube that one."

"Gentlemen. Inappropriate." Frank chides them.

Smith smiles "We eshu can be reckless, SIr, but I'll try."

Frank nods. "Do you feel up to cleaning up? Something to eat?"

"She started it, " Tig says sounding a bit huffy "What i offer women is fine for SOME? Seriously? and I told her this place was safe but she checked with you."

Oh my, she really got under Tig's skin

"I'm up to cleaning up," Smith says, patting oak, then rising stiffly "What shower should I use? or bath? I'm not picky"
