Smith eats, tells the kids a few more funny stories, before the kids have to go to bed.

"They're good children" He admits

Frank gets his tire tapper and goes to the door..... and waits.

A loud knock on the door "I know he's in there!"

Smith goes pale

A woman's voice

Frank does NOT open the door.

"Brother, I'm giving you the count of ten... 9... 8..."

Smith sighs "It's my sister"

"And?"

"Well, she can come in, honestly it's best. She'll find a way one way or another"

"Do I have to break this door down?"

"You can try." Frank says. "Or.... be polite."

"Oh, sorry ,I.." The woman sounds a bit contrite "Thought he was alone in therre for some reason..ah... may I come in please?"

"Any day now" She mutters

Frank opens the door.

By the time he opens the door, the piskie woman before him has pulled out a set of lockpicks, they look to be quality, then she looks up "Oops ah.. a hobby" She slides them back in to her vest, and goes on in

Frank is rather blocking her way..... he's a lot of troll, after all. But after a pause, he moves to invite her in. "Welcome to Rivervale. I am Frank King."

"I'm Bylew, what's my brother going by? Jones? Brown?"

"Smith" Smith says

"Smith." Frank confirms.

"Oh for the love" She moves towards him, "you're a mess. " She looks him over, despite their different kith, she certain acts like a big sister (And she much shorter) "Smith? Really? Fine. Smith.. unless your host asks me in which case I'll rat you out, secret agent man"

He sighs "i'm healing by the fire" he assures

"I'll give you two some time." Frank says, and takes his cider to the kitchen.

He goes in and finds his daughter cleaning things up, "Hey dad. How is it going out there?"

".... Siv?"

"Mm."

"Yeah, dad. I called the baron... told him about the situation, and now I'm cleaning up the kitchen so Brogan gets a break. HEarth is out tonight helping Dame Anne Marie"

"Thank you."

"I was about to ask, you want anything to eat? I was going to make some sphaghetti. "

"Spaghetti sounds good..... ragu meat sauce?"

"I can do that" she offers with a smile "Not as well as some but I bet well enough"

"Let's do it together? Get the ground beef......" Frank goes about cooking.

"Dad, I thought you were under oath only to cook at the grill" She jokes but seems pleased, "Sure"

Frank chuffs. "Mm. Want to grill?"

"Sometime but I think we're good the old fashioned way" She smiles "More fun to work together in the kitchen, though. You look in better spirits than before."

"Mm. I am well. You?"

"Actually, I'm missing Piper and Jonas a bit... Piper's with Linwood, they found a dreamer isn't that wonderful? ANd Jonas is helping Dame Marie again acting as errand guy for her and the Hearth. I love them both, but I have to deal with the fact both of them do impoirtant things too."

She starts to boil water for the noodles

Frank salts the water, and cooks the meat.

SOon, the two work together to make a rather lovely looking meal "WHen it doubt, follow recipes"
