Kerri releases a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding, looking very much relieved.

Vali chuckles "the Count grows in wisdom if I may say" he notices the gifts and such "Wow. Well," he moves to Frank and the Chief "Sorry about my dawdling. Had to make the rounds. "

"Not at all, Vali. This is your day." Frank puts a hand on his shoulder, and the watch into his own pocket.

"Your day, both of you," Kerri says as she approaches, in the tone of that will be enough of that.

Frank holds up his hands in honorable surrender.

Brekke nods and looks to Frank.

"Then come." Brekke nods also to Kerri and Vali, and leads them to stand before the balefire.

Frank goes with them.

Conversation has resumed among the crowds, but not too much, and it dims anew as the Chief movees before the fire

Jess moves away, a bit, from the wall she was holding up and closer to watch.

Sylvi was chatting, but she falls quiet and attentive again, standing.

Siv moves near her sister and gives her a side hug, a quiet one.

Jess returns it, but her attention is on quartet.

The Chieftain clears her throat, expecting silence from those who still chatter.
