Vali sips his coffee looking IRKED

"My wife is trying to destroy me, Frank" Sip

"Can't imagine why." He says mildly and takes a sip of his cider.

"Well she must be..did you know she's been spending a LOT of time in dog form just to speed up the pregnancy?" A brow

Sip. "No, Vali, I didn't."

"Me neither. I KNEW she had changed her wardrobe annd I thought she was progressing a bit fast.." SIp "But then she finallycomes clean, in her way and ..bam"

"Bam?"

"She's at least two months ahead of where she's upposed to be"

"I donn't know if htis hurts the kid, or not. She says it doesn't... but I'm freaking out"

"You should talk to her about that."

"I did. She's ... kinda sorta pologetic kind of sort wannts me to get over it already"

"I imagine she's going through a bit."

"She is" A siggh "Which is why I'm grumbling here"

Frank nods.

"Probably smart."

"I love her, but she just scared the hell out of me"

"Should probably talk to her about that, too. If you haven't."

"I did. I did" A sigh "Anyway, how are you doing? "

"Good. We should probably talk details."

"Shoot" He offers

"When would you like to make the transfer, and how?"

"I am happy to when to you. How? Am I right you'd prefer it small?"

"I feel that my preferences are secondary." Sip "This is the start of -your- time as Mountain. It should be your ceremony."

"Despite my joking nature, I think small, respectful, and warm is probably how I'd work it. I was thinking maybe some food avialble if the Hearth was okay? A few drinks to toast your farewell"

"I'm sure Kerri will put something together. And I'm not dying or leaving; let's say a few drinks to celebrate this new chapter of life."

"Yeah, don't heart attack or anythingg or folks will think I jinxed it"

"I'll do my best." dryly.

"Much obliged. Siv has been shooting me fewer dirty looks.. and in fact, asked how she could help me rrecently. "

Frank sighs. "Sorry about that."

"Don't apologize. She had some good ideas. Like I said, she did a turn arounnd"

"Mmphm. I'm glad to hear it."

"I'm more wondering how the pillars will react"

"We can speak with them together before the transfer."

"Sounds smart." A nod "Is tthere a holiday you want to run before I take over the task?"

"No. In fact, the sooner the better on that note. I don't think we should wait till Samhain."

"I was thinking that was a bit long " A nod "Okay, sooner is fine"
