"And sure, sorry Chieftain, we're not .. trying to be jerks. " She admits

"Oh sure, the Escheat stuff makes sense" Audrey adds

A sigh of relief.

"There are also some guidelines about our idea of hospitality," Kerri says kindly. "They're not dreadful, though."

Nolan sighs "SO much for my plans to get on national TV and expose myself as a vampire or something." A look at Kerri 'Hospitality, don't you have to have a southern accent for that?"

Vali soon reports that the guys went to the hopsital, the attacker had a nasty gut wound, nearly died. The other attacker seems to be suffering severe anxiety

A little chuckle from Kerri. "Essentially, help out when you can, understand that this is not a hotel, and respect people's belongings and the balefire. In return, you will have food, shelter, safety, and support."

"I steal cars not towels" He assures as if in offer

Kerri looks at the message from Vali, and reports it to the Chieftain. "Looks like somebody already got to them," she surmises.

He winces at the labor part though

Audrey looks at her brother "If I have to work around here, you definitely do."

Brekke notes Nolan's expression. "Many hands, light work."

Then a nod to Kerri. "Good."

It's at that time when Audrey yawns

And Nolan does right after

"Nice thing, rules are upfront and consistent. So..." Shrug.

She stands again. "Audrey, Nolan, I leave you in Dame Dagmar's care for the moment. I must patrol. The chimera will still be over-active."

"Fine" Audrey mmphs a bit

Nolan nods to the Chief "Hey, don't forget to refill the gas while you're borrowing that"

"Ah!" says Kerri, "that's the cue for cots. There's nothing like a good night's sleep near the balefire after you're newly awoken."

A weary look at Nolan, and then Brekke heads out.

"You guys will be safe here." A promise.
