Kelby grins "Troll lodge alarm system"

Sylvi laughs, then calls out, "Hi, Oak!"

The front door opens, and there's Kerri coming out to meet the three of them. Sylvi gets wrapped in a big hug, and she tries not to look like she needed that as much as she did. For that matter, her mother does the same.

Oak bounds up wagging, then sees Pskyka and sniffs at her. WHen last he saw her, she was this little thing. ..relatively speaking

And Nadeen smiles "Hello, Hearth Kerri."

Then Kerri releases her and turns to the others. "Baroness, Dame, it's very good to see you both." Formal language, but welcoming tone and smile.

"Come inside, and let's get your things settled."

"Good to be in the big city again" Kelby's semi inside joke about comparing this to the farm "You look good, Hearth. "

Nadeen comes in "No, Pyschka, don't bite him"

A chuckle, then "Thank you for that."

"Oak, you've met Pyschka," Sylvi reminds him.

Inside, bags and belongings are set aside in a corner temporarily. "How was the trod?" Kerri asks.

"Smooth as silk," Kelby says "mr. Olgar sure knows his stuff"

Both Sylvi and Kerri beam quietly and briefly at the praise for Olgar.

"Well, let me bring something out for you to eat..." Kerri begins.

"Mom," Sylvi interrupts, "how's Jaymes?"

The Hearth pauses. "From what I've heard, he's doing better. The Chieftain's been in to see him, and she did some heatherbalm work."

Sylvi relaxes slightly at hearing that. "Good. I want to go over there and offer some Spring as well."

Nadeen inclines her head "How are the centaurs?" Noting there appear to be none in sight

"I'm sure he'll appreciate that," Kerri says to Sylvi, then answers Nadeen, "They're well. Most of them have gone off to different holds. The Chieftain tried to make sure to place them in spots that would suit their temperaments. We've still got a couple here, plus Layne, of course. They're staying at the apartments during their fosterage."

"I see," nadeen nods "our own is doing well too. Quite the little limelilght seeker"

"Now, that's one I haven't met," Kerri says. "What's the name?"

"Blossom, adorable childling. She was with the hunters area, not transfered yet. And a new pooka lad, interesting a horse pooka childling"

As she talks, Nadeen puts things away carefully

Nadeen didn't get away easily without treats from Marigold. Butter-crusted and hearty hand pies, scones and individual breakfast quiches - troll sized, at that, and sweets, of course. The food is all the kind that can easily be grabbed on the go.

Sylvi got away from DarkGate so quickly that Marcellus didn't have time to send along treats. I hope he doesn't found out that Marigold did. That will start a battle.

"Oh, ah, I seem to have surplus travel food"

"A horse pooka and a centaur pooka, both childlings? That sounds like they have the chance to turn to each other."

Then Kerri notices what Nadeen is unpacking. "Oh, my. Marigold shouldn't have done that...."

"Try stopping her and god have mercy on your soul if you do" Nadeen lets slip before she can stop herself

Sylvi shakes her head, amused. "She's back to full speed, that's for sure."

"Thanks to you, Sylvi" Nadeen admits "I'm grateful. "

Sylvi grins. "It's what I could do, and I'm glad I could."

Kerri sorts things out on the tables. "Good grief...she practically sent a roast beast!"

Kelby looks around feeling, "is there...a change .. no I thought" She holds out her hand, then perplexed "That makes no sense. A second balefire?"

Kerri stops and stares at her, then says, "Just one there," nodding towards the balefire that is twinkling green in the room.

"Sorry" Kelby says "Guess I'm off my game"

Nadeen smiles "A roast beast to say the least"

Kerri shakes her head slightly, then says, "Nothing to apologize for, Kelby. Now...we've got Dagmar, Tove, and CJ upstairs in one of the guest rooms, but Sylvi, your old room is free. I'll let you three decide how you'd like to arrange things...of course, camping out in this room is also an option. Let me get you all something to drink...." She heads for the kitchen.

Nadeen raises a brow at the metion of the other Kings here "The barn's not safe?"

"An attack happened there. We are being cautious until we have more of the threat resolved." Kerri goes into the kitchen, leaving the girls alone in the room.

Sylvi sighs. "I really want to get over to the hospital. Like, right now...."

"I wish I could be in two places at once myself" nadeen sighs

"Where else?"

"Back at Silverwolf" She admits "Heaven's knows what that woman is.." She bites down "nevermind. I'll play catch up later"

Sylvi gives Nadeen a frown of concern, but doesn't push. "Listen, let's camp down here, okay? Sleepover style, by the balefire?"

"Surprise Dagmar when she comes down in the morning."

"Oh why not," Nadeen smiles
