"Thanks, Mountain," she says, hearing the instruction to Bix. "Um...there's a lot of bad tension about trolls and nobles here. A store owner thought we were just going to take whatever we wanted. So that's something to be aware of, too. I'm doing a little retail diplomacy. I've got some funds to work with."

"We can get you more." he rumbles.

"Oh! I wasn't trying to grub! I'm doing fine from the YouTube channel ad revenue. I mean, fine enough for gifts and stuff...not enough to really live off of, yet."

"Nor should you be, young lady. And it's not grubbing; it's freely offered."

"Well, if you're sure...thanks, Mountain."

(In the background, Sylvi is approached, or her door is knocked upon) "Gotta get moving if you wanna come see this trail." Grete, eager to earn her stone 'back'.

"Oh! Um...Mountain, can you tell my dad I'm sorry I couldn't stay on? I've got an important tour I've got to go on. And you can fill him in on the stuff I told you?"

"He'll want to have talked to you. Will you call back when you can?"

"I'll try. It's easy to miss him. But I'll text him and mom at least. Sorry, Mountain, gotta go! I'll report in again soon."

"Thank you. Be good."

"I'll do my best! Bye!" And she hangs up.

Just as Olgar comes in "Hey , my kid's on the phone?"

"Sorry, Olgar. I tried to hold her but she had something come up." And Frank fills Olgar in.

"She wanted you to know about the outpost in particular."

"Huh. Yeah, we took that outpost . Didn't know they had a staffing problem" A sigh "I think I can call a few of the boys in. Maybe I'll get Hastien there.. he just came in"

Olgar glares at the phone, as if it's ITS fault he didn't make it in time to talk to his daughter

"Been some time since I saw him."

"She said she'd text you, and call back when she can."

"I've had better days" Hastien admits, looking ragged in bloody breaches "Mountain"

Frank blinks. "Hastien. Why don't you sit down? I'll see if Brekke is nearby....."

"I'm mostly healed.. Dagmar... " He focues "Yeah, she gave me a cookie on the trod. Might have been a biscuit" But he does take a seat on a bench

Frank goes in search of Brekke.

A steady thock--thock--thock may indicate that Brekke is taking shots at the pell in the training ring.

Frank approaches. "Brekke? Hastien is here, could use a touch of healing."

"He did hear the 'mostly healed' part?" Hastien says to Olgar "Didn't he?"

"Ah, Frank has selective hearing. It's gotten worse as he's gotten older," Olgar tuts "Me? I'd tell you to do a few laps around the balefire and walk it off"

Hastien smirks "A pleethora of choices"

"Mm." A nod, and she follows him in. "Hastien," she says as she enters the room. "Olgar."

Hasteins' breaches are torn, and while the legs under are ahrd to see, the material is dried with blood

"Hm." Brekke assesses the damage, then offers, "Coffee?"

Frank crosses to the coffee station, getting a mug from Brekke at least.

Hastien gives a troll salute, then says "thank you"

Two mugs, then. He glances a question at Olgar.

"Don't look at me, healing wise anyway" Olgar says "Fresh as a daisy. But I'll take some coffee, sure."

Frank nods. Three mugs. He fixes them and brings them around.

Brekke takes one, nods to Frank, then takes a spoon and swirls some patterns in it before handing it to Hastien with a nod.

"Thanks, Frank. You told the Chief what you told me yet?" Olgar asks as he takes his coffee

Hastien takes it "Much obliged, Chieftain" And he drinks

A light and easy heatherbalm takes away whatever damage remains. Meanwhile, Brekke accepts her own mug with a grin to Frank.

"No." He turns to Brekke. "Sylvi called." And he relates the phone call.

She focuses on the narrative, brow furrowing as she settles into her chair by the balefire.

"Ah, thank , hit the spot" Hastien says

A nod to Hastien.

"Hm. We should send support," she agrees. "I must spread the word."

"I'm getting reassigned, aren't I?" Hastien says dryly looking at Olgar

"I would imagine she's reached out to EarthRunes as well."

Olgar says "You kidding? I think we might be allowed to get a good deal on that outpost, as in it being entrusted to us if we play our cards right" It's clear by 'we' he means the Rovers. "Though Dubh was smart to use us. How's Dagmar?"

"She was fine.. I remember being prroud of her. she and her.. damn it, someone was with her.. they're doing okay"

Brekke listens and nods. "There needs to be a strong Rover presence at the outpost, yes. Some more on the ground at BrightWinds. I...have some notions."

"Mmm. I'm sure Sparrow does too."
