Sally Mae ponders then "I wonder if Lut shacking up with Coach Grey would also be of help?" this directed at Dagmar "What do you think?"

"OH. I mean.. uhh "Her turn to blush "That Coach Grey might have information on home school sports events"

"True..."

"I miss basketball."

"Well, a lot of DeBukes love sports. If they could get a chance to play in a high school level game they'd.. well, they'd go nuts for it."

She rubs the back of her neck and nods.

"I.. do you want me to ask Clem.. pardon me, Chief Clem, if there's a way to have Lupe and May over at the farm?"

"I mean, they're letting SIDHE In now. That blows my mind"

"Gotta be careful with May, though..."

"oh right. her dreams Mmm but otherwise is that a yes?"

Shrug.

"Am I on your list now?"

A sigh "I mean, did I hurt our relationship as lodgemates?"

"No..."

"Good. " She says "When I went around Clem once, she rooted my toes to the ground and walked off huffy. " True? TRUE "Mind you, I got snotty about how I did it, and we were both much younger"

"Just... dunno.." She shrugs.

"Don't want folks thinking I'm.. like..." Gesture.

"You are one of the hardest working, most honest, most dedicated wilders I know, and I know a LOT Of them" She says "You might think I'm sucking up, but I'm glad to know you, Sam King aka Dame Dagmar Hammerstrike. Very glad. " True "Now, I'm going into the kitchen to do some chores. But if you need help with that math come in and we'll talk over it while I make honey cakes"

"Can we just make cakes and not talk about school?

"Yes, yes we can" She says and smiles "And, tonight, we will. " True "Since that's what you like"

And motioning the girl to follow her, she goes into the kitchen, where NO Math will be talked about.

But taste tests for honey cakes will be required... and what do you know, there's a squire there possibly to help too
