"Huh" Siv says then thinks about it "For a time, you felt like it had you, now .." A look at the tattoo "you have it"

A slight flush of purple. "Dunno."

Brekke takes a deep breath and rises. "If you will excuse me, all...I have neglected the garden." She rests a hand on Siv's shoulder, looks around the group, nods. Then she goes for the door.

"Well, no need to rush into anything. I'm just flying high on the adreniline of this one. Not sure if I'll end up with a full body suit like it looks like Mr. Duff is working for... but this... suits me, I think."

Siv fusses at Mackerel "Stop snubbing me, I'm trying to apologize" then Siv nods "Yes, mother " A smile "I will see you later" she promises

"To each their own" Siv says "Though," A chuckle "You could get like a load of TEMP tattoos that lOOK real, see how your mother reacts thinking they're real."

"I've been responsible and dutiful for a while not, Jonas. I get to cause a bit of mischief" Siv counters "Vicariously"

"I don't think Tove would mind real tattoos. But they'd look bad."

"You could always get something small. But also... sometimes stuff is for other people... and sometimes it's just for you. If you got a tattoo of somethign that had meaning, it doesn't mean any less, just because you don't show it off."

And a blink at her. "Why bad?"

Shrug.

"Like, color would look weird on blue..." The lie sits poorly on her. "Hey, Siv, you hear about our raid?"

"No, and I'm curious as all hell" Siv says but doesn't smile "I am sure it wasn't pretty but I'd still like to know details"

"It was pretty bad. Chief took an iron wound."

Siv says "What?" her head whips to the garden's direction "Dammit mom"

"Balor."

"You know, they can stop vying for my most hated house prize any day now . The Leanhaun still have a lead but.." Siv says "Tell me more"

"She's okay now though- you saw, all of her arms and legs intact. At least, the ones she went in with. You shoulda seen her, her and Dagmar both. I never EVER want to be on the opposite side from a Gwydion in righteous battle."

"There was a factory, lots of women and kids..."

Siv nods to Piper.

"Symon did a lot of scouting, with Eden... um.. Gerd, damn, she spent herself near empty wayfaring folks..."

"Frank had a crew with a truck, they fought redcaps..."

"But Chief, she took on the sidhe."

"Dad fought redcaps? he .. he's got all his fingers right?" Siv says

"Chief was the worst hurt..."

"Dirk got pretty roughed up, too, but..."

"OH, and Piper! Piper helps me get the guards... more dangerous than I'd like, luring them..."

A look at Piper "Well look at you" Impressed "Takes guts to be the bait in shark filled bay"

"I felt.. I guess I still feel a bit dirty about it, but it kinda... turnabout being fair play, maybe. Using the type of magic that their boss would, but against them, and without his... malice."

"Whatever, you were brave as hell."

"Spies like us" Siv nods to Piper with respect

Jonas sips his tea, but also refills the glasses of others.

She waves Dagmar off. "You were the ones in real danger. They didn't want to HURT me. They were trying to SHOOT you." And a laugh. "At least now we can laugh about it, a bit. Argue over who was more in mortal peril than who."

"Oh I'm willing to believe you were all in trouble to some degree or nother and if ANY Of you'd have died I'd have been SOO Cross" Siv says wwarningly but fondly

"Nobody died!"

"We'll just have to promise that whoever is crazy enough to get themself killed is going to GET it from everyone else in our next lives."

"Man, Tove was all pissy about staying at the lodge..."

A smile at Piper. "Fair."

"OH. I got a squire."

"That's news."

"Someone had to stay here to protect the bale! And the childlings, and your squire - and What?!"

"Wait.. what A squire?" Siv says
