"Well, the Terminator is looking up the same info you did now, Dagmar- thanks for the tip she says, and she says he's only a suspect.. they can totally handle this in her sleep. Laws outlawing those camps help..."

Sylvi smiles. "AnneMarie is a total force of nature. Like...she's like that Ivy that climbs up a brick wall and tears it down. Only she does it FAST."

"Hey, you wanna relocate, we won't stop you."

"But, well - you should get home to your dad."

"Oh I am OUT of here asap" Alyce says "I meant it with regret... you guys are... I'm going to miss you ... but I have to help my dad. He's the ... you ever have someone who didn't understand you all the time, but did more than he shouldd, and when he didn't, he rolled with it? And always, ALWAYS is there for you? I mean, even when he comes down on me I know it's because he's looking OUT For me, not KEEPING Me down.. "

Gerd looks sad "once. "

"Yeah," Sylvi smiles to Alyce, then she puts a hand on Gerd's back sympathetically.

"Now."

Gerd smiles at Sylvi , "Dagmar could tell you about a cool dad. Hers is like the ice man on the outside, but totally trying to back her. he even parks like further back for school pick up"

"Wait.. you got your dad to hang BACK? my dad didn't catch onto that one until my senior year" Satyr envy

"Jaymes is great, yeah. I'm lucky."

"Well, he came into it late, so he's doing his best. Tove forgets, though, she'll pull right up front."

"Oh, um...if a big troll with a really scary face comes in, that's probably my dad. He's a good guy. He just looks like he's going to eat you, at first."

"Yeah, Mr . Davidson .. he looks like the sort of guy you don't want to meet in a dark alley, until you realize he's the one keeping you SAFE in the dark alley." Gerd says then looks at Sylvi and Dagmar "I think you guys should get them something nicer than tacky ties this weekend if you can"

"I've been making a carving."

"You carve ? Bitchin" The satyress says

"Oh, my dad likes the tacky ties. It's like a joke. But I've got some other ideas, too."

A knock on the kitchen door

Sylvi goes to the door and opens it.

"I'm learning to carve - you saw the chair, that's what Tove does."

Anne Marie is there "Sylvi, you're looking lovely as usual. Thanks for the tips for older women earlier.. I think my make up style was definitely in need of touching up. Has the young lady been told she can't even tell her father about us, the escheat at such?"

"Okay, your mom is forgiven for dropping you up front I'm guessing" Alyce says "Because her work is amazing"

"...Not yet?"

"I mean, there's a lot to cover."

"Oh, hey, AnneMarie! Um, I don't know what they told her about the Escheat, yet. Plus, kind of hoping her dad might be one, too."

A smile to Alyce. "I'll let her know you said so."

"You're like ... a hobbit?" A startled look from the satyr.

"AnneMarie's a boggan."

"Like a hobbit."

Anne Marie laughs "Worse comparisons. I admit it, I would not be ashamed to be a Baggins, but I have my Took moments. Okay. Honey I have something for you, but you cannot mention the faerie stuff or the flight to anyone okay?"

"Uhm.. sure?" A brow like 'is this lady on the up and up'? From Alyce

"AnneMarie has done more to help new fae and fae in trouble than just about anybody I know. She's good. We trust her."

"Yeah - remember how you were worried you were crazy? Now, imagine telling the cops you're an ancient greek cryptid..."

And that's when the boggan pulls out the burner phone and presses a button "Mr. Wilson? Your daughter wants to talk to you.." And then.. an excited deeep voice on the other end. And Anne Marie hands the phonee over to the winged girl who is far from home.

"Dad? Daddy?" And suddenly Alyce is almost crying happily into the phone as she is lost to them, to everyone, except her father

Anne Marie whispers "I'll take it from here, girls" to Sylvi, Gerd, and Dagmar
