BIC: Gerd says "This is Alyce. With a Y. She's just now learning she's a satyr and what changelings are"

"Oh! You just hatched, Alyce? Welcome!" She extends a hand to the winged satyr.

"Well, if you mean since May 5th..yeah" Alyce takes Sylvi's and looks up admiring "Sorry, still getting used to giants. Look this is weird for me... but I'm told you guys might help my dad so .. let me know what I can do?"

"She's been on her own for over a month. Hey, you still hungry? There's more food..."

"Oh, food we've got."

"I WANT to eat everything in sight but I don't know if I should... been on a 'broke ass diet' not sure a shift too fast is good for me" Alyce says

"Welll...maybe soup? Come on, I know there's leftovers." She leads the way to the kitchen.

"Sure.." A bump "Argh, these wings."

Gerd says "Hey, at least yours work"

"You can actually fly with those? Cool!" In the kitchen, Sylvi starts rummaging in the fridge. "Do you eat meat?"

Dagmar trails after.

"If you run it by oven at least once to scare it to death, yes" Alyce says

"Ha! Well, okay, chicken noodle soup it is." She puts some of the soup in a pot on the stove and starts reheating. "I'd microwave it, but I think it's better from the stovetop."

"Plus, less offensive to your mother's soul."

"Right?"

"Long story sum up... " Gerd explains "Alyce got a dream dance thanks to trying some sort of hallucination, so she's been thinking this was the trip that did not end. Apparently her Grams tried to 'cure' her of being Bi... and her dad told HIS mom to screw off BUT grams has pull in Foggy Horror County Maine or whatever it is... and had her own son arrested so she could get Alyce 'straightened' out..nevermind that as an 18 year old Alyce is supposed to be a grown up and all... but she missedhis trial.He SHOULD be free but he's probably looking for her if he is, and if he isn't, we need to get some help for him"

"I can google?" She pulls out her phone. "What's his name?"

Sylvi's jaw drops as she listens. "Seriously? I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Some people just SUCK."

"Sorry, Alyce. That's awful. And yeah, we'll help." Stirring soup as it warms.

"Yeah, fuck that old lady."

"Yeah that's pretty on the nose" The Satyress says "And... Logan Price Wilson. Dad always said he sounded like either a NASCAR driver or a guy who would try to shoot a president with that name"

"Okay, so if he's neither of those, what does he do?"

"Grams is just the worse..god I hate that bitch" Steaming at the thought of her

"She does sound pretty extreme. Glad she's in Maine and not here."

The soup is ready, and Sylvi presents Alyce with a bowlful and a spoon. It's a delicious chicken-soup color, with plenty of noodles and chunks of chicken. "Anybody else want some?" she offers.

Dagmar googles the name, plus "Maine," looking for news.

"There's extra? I could eat, thanks. Kerri soup is good."

"Dad's a washing machine repair man.. I know it sounds lame. but it makes steady pay"

"Hey, nothing wrong with a skill that helps people."

She gives Dagmar a bowlful, too. "Gerd?"

Alyce inhales "Okay. That smells like heaven." and she samples some "And tastes better"

Gerd says "Not hungry"

"Cool." She sets the remainder aside to cool a bit before putting it away in the fridge.

Dagmar discovers the ... the man was released about two weeks ago but now is the chief suspect in his missing daughter

Dagmar eats and pokes at the phone.

"Good and bad news!"

"Yeah?" she says

"He was released, but now they're looking for you."

"We gotta get you home, and figure out a cover story."

Sylvi colors a bit for some reason, but only says, "That's not hard -- she ran away from a brainwashing camp. Totally plausible story."

"Wait, are they blaming him for me being gone? Those fucking idiot cops!" A flash of temper. Then "Ohkay.. brainwashing camp works.. it's where SHE was going to put me. I hope that witch chokes on her own lying tongue one day"

"Has your grandmother always been like this?"

"Bet Ann Marie could set up any traces we needed..."

Gerd is tapping away "Anne Marie is already texting me back. Geez when does she sleep?"

"Though, listen, I get you want to get home - but we do need you set up straight on the satyr thing, and we need to hook you up with the freehold up there so you can be fostered..."

"I don't think she does. She's a tiny, bright-eyed terminator."

"Yeah. Long as I've known her" Alyce says
