She can see his horns, the top of his head.

She idly rests a hand atop one of his horns, a comfortable and familiar gesture.

"There is much to be said for trying new things, I think. Especially when how things were tried before did not work."

"Yes. But...if the issue remains and festers further..."

"You have done a great deal to resolve it, Brekke. They are wilders, of a sort. Some battles they must fight themselves." He sighs.

"On that note....."

"Mm?"

Another sigh.

"I think, very strongly, we should consider finding Adam a tutor. A.... mentor."

A silent moment, but she nods and he can likely sense the gesture in her shifting. "Fiona."

"Yes."

"You see my reasoning?"

"Being led by like may wake him?"

"No. Although true, I had not considered it yet."

"Siv." quietly.

A blink. "Siv. As his tutor." She pauses. "She has not yet taken house oath...."

"No, no. No. No. Not as his tutor. No."

He takes a drink of mead.

"As an example."

She likewise takes a sip. "Because...they may be similar in their fae natures...?"

"Not in kiths, no, but if he is Fiona and she becomes Fiona...."

"I mean, both without fae souls separate from their mortal selves. At least as far as we know."

"There is that." Sip. "She found him, Brekke. Well, she Enchanted him for the first time. At the lake, with that Chimera attacking them?"

"Hm." A pause. "Do you think she would agree?"

"I do not think Siv should mentor him. A new Fiona, mentoring a not-yet Fiona. It could be. Spectacular. Not in a good way."

Puzzled. "Then why...? Oh....you did not mean she should serve as an example for him, but that her education should serve as an example for the way he should be educated."

"Sending him away."

"Yes. An example to us." Sip "Not necessarily sending him away; he has a family, and he is younger than Siv was. We are her family, we could consent."

"I would not send him without their consent." A pause. "I do not wish to send him to the Candy Court," she mentions the Fiona barony in Greenwich Village.

Frank inhales, thinking. "Sending him to Rowan Oak....."

He can sense her eyes going wide. "I...do not know. Perhaps." A pause. "What of EarthRunes?"

"Yes. There is that."

"I suppose...they might be...intrigued? By his situation?"

"Baron August might, indeed. How Sidhe move between Arcadia to their mortal hosts... is a project of interest to our House." Frank stands, slowly, with a grunt.

He goes to his bookshelves and pulls a volume and looks through it.

"Mm." She considers this, then watches him as she finishes her mead.

"What is that?" she asks of the book.

"A history. A listing, more like. Duchy of Stonecoast, Fiona. Barony of Silver Springs too. Both of those in Apples. The Moonlit Trod has been out of reach for decades. Some places in the Duchy of the Delta Crescent."

"And, of course, The Court of Northern Ice.

"And Caer Pallisades."

"Hm. We must consider that we would be asking them to take on an unknown element."

"Mm." A grunt agreeing with her.

"Well." dryly "Which location would you like to ruin our relationship with?"

He tilts his head.

An idea has struck.

"Hm." A wry grin at that.

Then.... "What?"

"Is my memory failing me in my old age or... don't the DeBuke's have, to their dismay, a Fiona in their family?"

An eyebrow. "I believe the DeBukes are discovering they have a bit of everything in the family."

"But...which is the Fiona...?" She cannot seem to recall.
