He blinks in surprise, having been checking the cobwebby corners under the porch! "Goooo, Lily! If you reach the pole first, you get a prize!"

A glance at the nearest adult. "Um, I think."

"Mayflies die very quickly" Lily sas

Dirk looks wistful

"WOAH!" Adam, a tall boy, has to duck.

Then "WOAH!" OVER the top of Dagmar's head!!

Symon watches the dancers, with a carefully disinterested look as befits a sluagh with proper gravitas.

Kerri chuckles to Connor. "Not exactly. Hey, go ahead and get in there. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, even if you don't have a ribbon."

"Ack, sorry!"

Those with horns have a distinct disadvantage as the ribbons pull closer to the pole.

He beams up at Kerri. "I don't want to crumple my flowers."

"Well, that's fine, too," Kerri assures him.

If Symon checks, he'll find that the Sluagh Snacks table is in its usual shady location.

He watches the dancers, then slides over to lean near Dirk. "Didn't bring your wolfgirl? I bet she'd be welcome."

Horns for jack haven't come in yet

Dagmar is both tall AND horned AND in a tangle.

"No, no no no DUCK! JUMP! CRAP!"

And finally they've run out of ribbon, and a crazy, haphazard, ribbon-wrapped pole stands proudly in the midst of the Beltane garden.

Those who are tangled run the risk of getting tied to the pole and left there!

Lily squirms free "ick..crowded" whisper

Piper spins and jumps and slides and tries to loop Adam with her ribbon!

Connor tries to flag Lily down...

Lily moves to him and blushes "Joyous beltaine, Connor"

Sylvi almost runs into trouble, as both her left horn and right ankle have ribbons looped around them, but she manages to work her way free.

"I'm not sure how i got here" Colton says as he finds himself agaisnt the maypole

Dagmar snort-laughs.

Gerd giggles

Sylvi turns to discover that Colton is trapped...and she smiles. "Hmmm...." Tapping a finger against her lips.

"If I let you loose...you have to let me braid your hair up," she bargains with her boyfriend.

Adam staggers away from the Maypole, laughing, and unentangled.

"Single braid only" he says "And it has to look .. you know, manly."

"Oh, I don't know...." Sylvi looks dubious.

Somehow, Dagmar made it out unscathed, though she does have some leaves and flowers stuck in her curls.

Nadeen pulls Dagmar by the hand. "you did wonderfully"

Colton sighs "No flowers at least?"

"Well, I didn't squish anyone.."

"Wellll....okay. I won't put any flowers in your hair." Sylvi starts helping him loose.

"Hearth," Brekke calls out. "Is it time to feast?"

"THank you" ANd he says "My hero.." And kisses her

"I'm not sure," Kerri calls back, then yells, "Grill-Masters General, what's the verdict?"

"-I'm- ready." Frank rumbles. "First round, anyway."

Sylvi smiles and kisses him back, and soon he's free.
