MUCH better. But comfy chair by fire is very inviting.

Dirk says when it's just them (Gerd in the kitch) "Lupe was bad ass, wasn't she?"

"Totally. So were you - did I hear them say you ate one of their weapons?"

"Yeah, it tasted nasty actually, but I got it down"

"Damn, for you to say it tastes nasty..."

"YEah" He nods , brow focusing "I used glamour to get it down"

"Yeah, pretty badass."

"THanks" He says " You know, I like hurting things..taking what they value and terrifying them... Doc says if you can see what you love in what you do, it makes the job go more easily."

"Bet that monster was scared to meet, like, real fear."

"I hope so. I don't like folks hurting Lupe. She puts up with too much shit..and keeps the rage focused... she directs what's dark in her against what's worse out there. It's kind of like.. she's like me... only with bright eyes and bumps that are nice. So yeah... I want to bring fear and horror to monsters. Show em I'm king of the monsters... and ..well.. you know..maybe folks I give a shit about will be okay"

"Yeah, I get it."

"Yeah.. " A nod "HEy, and BAD ass was you too you know? You held off one alone for a moment! Took flyswatter to town!"

"Man, they're tough. Like, I saw some of the wounds closing up just after I hit..."

"You saw that too? You tore a chunk and they just sealing up if you took too long.." Dirk ponders "I figure the secret is to kill em fast."

"Yeah, s'what I thought too."

"Silver" From the stairs "I shouldn't tell you but silver? Really works" Lupe comes down clean and looking good

"Like in the movies? Go figure."

"Hey, sometimes things get done right... " She looks at Dirk "Go shower you stink"

"You dont'.." He sniffs at Lupe

"Don't Be weird" She taps his nose. Her hand over a redcaps' mouth. Which is.. well, crazy to do

Dirk grins kisses her palm and heads up the stairs.

Lupe blinks in that 'did I enjoy that?' look people get sometimes when they don't know if they want the answer to be yes or not.

She sees the brow "What?"

"Brave, s'all."

"Oh.." She blushes "Yeah. I know it's...like offering a great white bacon isn't it?"

"Little bit."

"Yeah. I don't know why I like him... but I do" resigned "Something wrong with me"

Gerd peeks out "We're all weirdos, welcome to the clique.. you guys want Beef stew or not?"

"Fooooooooood."

"Foooood" Lupe says

"Yeah yeah... helps yourselves, Ladle and bowls are ready"

"Thanks Gerd, you're the best."

"I'm not but I'll take it" She smiles then says "Course, if I'd have been there, i would have..."

'Dropped them in the lake" Lupe chimes "Hey, I remember a LOT more when I'm glowing"

"Yeah, kind of a tough system. The kin get hit real hard by it..."

"Seems to have it's perks" Lupe says "Nicer than our Delerium"

"Yeah... screaming hordes, right?"

"Or gibbering... or some will attack you.. though that's rarer" she says

"Yeah, not something you wanna deal with."

Lupe gets her stew, and while not up to Kerri level (what is) it's Beef Stew ... and that's kind of a pass fail.. Dagmar might want to put a pinch of spice or peppers in her own bowl

A good shake of black pepper after the first bite, but it's good!

Gerd doesn't take offense if she sees.

"The pack texted... they got the clean up done.. want me to come in for a cleansing ritual later" She sighs
