The dogs GROWL.. then sniff.. and settle down... to..confusion.

Something smells WRONG.. but there's also smells of friends

Brekke is out by the stables, tending the horses, when the group arrives. She frowns and approaches. "What happened?" Then, "Hello, Lupe."

"No, no, good doggies... just us."

"Hi Chief."

"Shifters, Chieftain," Sylvi reports. "Not like Lupe."

"Hello CHieftain.." Lupe says "Yeah.. these were OUR enemies"

The girls look terrible despite their healing and smell worse. Ditto for Dirk

Stormwake snorts at the stink.

Brekke frowns and holds the Lodge door open for them. "Come by the 'Fire."

"We won." She plunks down in a chair with a clank of plate.

She looks them over. "Who is still wounded? Dame? Peacekeeper?"

"Sylvi did magic water, I'm feeling much better..."

"I gave them some spring-drink, but..." Sylvi looks dubiously at Dagmar.

"Dagmar's still torn up she's hiding it well" Lupe narcs

And ignores her own remaining scrapes and injuries

"Mm." Brekke nods and takes her own seat near the fire. "Rest," she instructs both girls.

She takes up a stick of wood and a knife and starts whittling. "Tell me how it was."

"They totally didn't expect a fight."

"'Scuse me, I'm gonna go un-stink-ify myself." Sylvi goes upstairs, trying to touch the bannister as little as possible.

"Fucking awesome" Dirk blurts "THREE evil killing machine.. ONE COOL Killing Machine... then Dagmar was there too..." Dirk says "I see two are on My.. I mean.. on Lupe.. and I like BITE hard... and man it did not like... Dagmar was like SLAMING vertabrae..."

Brekke listens with interest, still carving, a simple but clean pattern forming along the stick as she works.

"Lupe was all like 'run' but three on one ain't fair, so I called the Wyrd..."

"You were right to do so, it seems."

"Then everything got weird all right" Lupe says

"FLyswwatter ins't silver but they felt it" Dirk adds

She pauses, frowning, reaching into her memory. "Spirals...?" she asks Lupe.

"Oh you've heard of them, yeah, one of the great shames of the Garou... the mad tribe.. the traitor tribe." She says

"Yeah, thank god Sylvi and Dirk showed up... they're tough motherfu..."

A frown at the word traitor. "I have never met one, but I remember being told of them. That was long ago. They are not part of your Caern, then."

Her hands resume their work, and the carving continues to climb along the stick, and the others (including Lupe) can feel the glamour being drawn to its form.

"Sounds like they're Thallain, kinda."

The word turns Brekke's frown into a scowl.

"More like Balor, I think. But not far off. Perhaps they work together, sometimes. I do not know."

"Bad guys."

She closes her eyes. "Wish they didn't turn back into people though."

"Mm." A nod. She has finished the quick carving of the stick, which seems to be in three sections separated by grooves in the wood. "Peacekeeper, come here and hold the middle section." She offers out the stick.

Dirk grunts and takes it as directed "Got it. now what?"

"Lupe, Dagmar...each grab an end and break it off."

"Okay..." She amiably reaches out to do so.

Lupe does grab hers and....then tries to break it off

The stick breaks easily at the grooves, and the glamour of the cantrip flows out to heal all three of them.

A sigh. "Okay, I really need to study magic more. Thanks, Chief."

Dirk grumbles! "my scars!"

NOW she starts unbuckling armor bits.

"Anne Marie would be saddened to see you wounded, Peacekeeper."

"Oh dont be a baby" Lupe says "You're ugly enough already. You get any uglier and I wont' get near your ass"

"And I will teach you if you wish, Dame."
