Going out the kitchen into the gardens, Kerri can see the hard work the girls have put into things... and yet.. there's more decorations than she planned. More glamour than she expected

"Ooh. Well...certainly not a drawback...." She peruses the scene.

And, well, it takes a bit, but she finds an exhausted rabbit.. it's Flopsy. The hare looks a bit different.. at times White, and ..cuter... other times.. he shifts colors like he was a glass rabbit full of skittles

A snicker in the shadows... Lovecraft was hanging around nearby, perhaps chatting or perhaps just amused at his Troubles.

"Flopsy? Are you okay? You look like you need a drink."

"Let's just say Easter is hard on Rabbit Chimera, I mean, yes some enjoy it, some are made for it... but I really wasn't meant to lay 34 colorful eggs of various sizes." He lays there "And i smell like chocolate which is HIGHLY alarming. May I help you , Hearth?"

His little cotton tail makes a rude gesture in the cat's direction

"You may, actually, though I hate to add to your burden, and I do thank you so much for your effort and contributions. Now, we have a problem. It seems Nabuni forced a court change on the Thomases, and they're not adjusting to it well."

A blink of green eyes in the shadow, curious as any cat, but not interrupting.

Kerri catches sight of the eyes and gives a nod. "Lovecraft. Tell Symon we hope he is well, please."

"Oh no..." he rises "Well of course not, blast it, she's a chimera of carnal desire, not " he coughs out a peep, "Pardon, not totally tied to Unseelie. She must have gathered some autumn and winter glamour and infused iti n thier dreams . They need to expend it and then get some more spring or Summer glamour in them. As for Nabuni. Oh dear. She's supposed to look after Adam but sometimes I don't think she thinks it through. There are.. other complications I suspect"

A soft hiss. "Symon not like it if Seelie forced on him. Mrrrrr. Bad ideas."

Kerri sighs. "I'm having a hard time not blaming this on Adam...but you feel it's largely Nabuni's fault?"

"They might not like it at first, Lovecraft, but they're neglecting their children. They haven't yet learned how to unseelie in a healthy way."

A blink of green eyes. It had been a comment of agreement, but she doesn't press it.

"Oh She used as much tether as he gave her, no doubt, but my opinion of Adam is that if you stroke him, tell him he's oh so clever, and would he like a treat he'll purr and nod not even thinking it through" A glance back at lovecraft "No offense"

"Well, Adam's frantically searching for her now, can't seem to find her. Don't suppose you have an idea where she might be hiding?"

"Not precisely, but I have a means of alerting her that I wish to see her" he says , Straightning, "And I do have keen eyes, keener ears, and a decent nose. I shall look about for her forth with. " A thought then "Lovecraft, could you scratch some of the glamour out of the parents? Empty them out a bit? "

"Want to track, talk to dog." She suggests. But, a thoughtful blink. Eyes narrowing a touch. "Not scold later for thiiiieeeeving?"

"In this case, I wouldn't scold you, but be cautious."

"Mmmmm. Give to Lily."

"If you can confirm that you've sapped them a bit, I'll go over with a Spring-laden peace offering in the morning, courtesy of Sylvi if she can manage it."

"You want to give unseelie glamour to Lily?"

"Sluagh like." A shrug.

The rabbit takes on an official air, "As head of the Bergen Civilized Chimera Association, I hearby give you leave to leach off a mild amount from both adult Thomas this one time without judgement, Lovecraft. Do not take it all, please. A few scatches at most, though I trust you to know your business"

"Well...offer it to Lily, don't just dose her with it, please." And then an interested look at the name of the association.

"Well...I'll leave you to your business." Kerri stands. "Thank you, Flopsy, Lovecraft."

A flick of her tail in acknowledgement, and Lovecraft creeps off through the shadows, heading towards the Thomas house.

"Lovecraft is good at anything she puts her paw to, Hearth," Flopsy says "I can't say I always like her, but I've never doubted her skill. And she is, in her way, quite fond of Symon. "

"Of that, I have no doubt. There's a loyalty there, though I wouldn't say it to her face. And...Flopsy, I don't say it often enough, thank you so much for standing by Sylvi."

"Oh," the rabbit looks proud and wistful, "Wonderful, turning into a wonderful woman. Don't tell her, of course, but I am selfishly sad that she needs me less and less, but at the same time feel rather smug for my part in her development. it's all very- conflicted? "

A wry grin from Kerri. "Welcome to the club, friend." Then a sigh. "All right, I have to go fix a plate of crow for myself, and in the morning bring some dosed mimosas over to the Thomases. Let me know if Lovecraft was successful in her mission, please...won't do any good to Spring them if they haven't been de-Autumned yet."

"I will try to keep abreast of the... " He coughs.. coughs, and spits up another peep, "situation and inform you. I fear tomorrow will be a bit rough for me, but, stiff upper ears and all that"

Kerri pauses, then blows him a kiss (and a bit of glamour).

"Let me know if more would help. You've more than earned it."

"Oh no need for glam..." He takes it though "I really just use them to.." He lays another egg "See? See where it goes?"

And there is a beautiful chimerical egg of blue with light marbeled green streaks here and there like an arch, and a painting of a hearth on it

"Please, take it... if you dont think about where it came from, it's probably delicious"

"Oh! I'm...sorry?" She hesitantly takes the egg. "It's beautiful. Odd, but beautiful."

"Well, it was your glamour... I imagine the green tinges are either a hint of the balefire, or hint at your Unseelie husband... the hearth is self explaintory."

It actually feels.. a bit warm

Kerri works very hard not to be disturbed by the temperature of the thing in her hand. "Thanks again, Flopsy. I'm off to bed, now." And to wash my hands....

"Good night, Hearth. I'm off to work"

Meanwhile, Lovecraft seeks out a victim... err someone to help, but it might be more fun to think of them as victims

....

And indeed, she finds one, for while Adam and Kyle are talking further off... she sees a very Angry Brenda, the satyress has gotten a bit off track looking for her husband and son.

Brenda doesn't see Lovecraft, which is good, because the cat's tail is getting a bit fluffy

Lovecraft creeps through the underbrush, and contemplates. Her normal modus operandi would be to sneak attack and shadow slash... but mightn't that instill MORE fear glamour? Delicious, yes, but...

Circling around, she steps purposefully to crackle and snap on some twigs ahead of Brenda. And a she makes an audible, high-pitched, and very uncharacteristic... MEW?

Brenda turns "What was..." Curiosity does get her, and she looks. She has a lot of horns for a female satyress so has to be careful not to get them entangled in bush or tree . She steps closer "I'm sorry, Kitty but I need to find my family and I got so mad I just didn't think"

A fluffy kitten stumble-fumbles out of the brush... and mouth opens in a squeaky, imperious, "mewewew."
