Gerd winces "I thought he was happy here? I.. argh"

"He seems to be?"

"But, like.. there's a difference, between sort of being everybody's and being somebody's kid."

"Well, yeah, but he'd say no if they tried," Gerd says "He keeps thinking one day that stupid Ailil will love him" A sigh

"I hate that sidhe."

"Not fond of him either" Jaymes says

"Connor deserves better."

Gerd looks frustrated "yes."

"All things in time." Jaymes says "When he'll be ready, folks here will be ready. Until then. He is loved and cared for."

"He is." Sigh.

"Especially by Gerd who is a good sister" Jaymes says

Gerd blushes "Well, yeah... i know whati t's like to.. well. .you know"

"Not sure if... I mean, sister stuff..."

"Mostly I boss him around, give him hugs, escort him places, tell him to stay out of trouble then go help him when he gets into it" Gerd shrugs

"Yeah, you're good at sister stuff."

"Thanks." She says "You want a dream, Jaymes? I.. oh uhm.." She looks to the kitchen "Sorry, it might have to wait"

Jaymes raises a brow

"Yeahhh, not going in there."

And the door opens and Tiffany comes out..looking a bit disheaveled and she seems to walk forward with her left hand slightly ahead of her body compared to her right

"HI. " She beams "Jaymes, you snuck in... great. I was thinking of giving your wife a RING on the phone, seeing how she was doing."

"She's fine" Jaymes nods

"Yes. yes... I Would never PROPOSE otherwise" Tiffany bounces

"Tiffany, do you want to tell us something?"

Sylvi comes down the stairs, freshly showered and in pajamas, robe, and slippers. "That was gross...." she mutters to nobody in particular.

"Oh.. me? Tell folks anyhthing? Oh look, Sylvi is here, Sylvi, how was your GROOMing?" Tiffany says

"Ahhhh...fine?" she pauses, looking at Tiffany dubiously.

And those who look at it, might notice a ring that was not there before

Sylvi notes that posture, and...oh, she knows what that means! "For REAL?" She smiles and goes to look at the ring. "Heyyy!"
