A frown, and she looks away.

"If you were hurt like Mountain Frank was hurt I bet Chieftain Brekke and Hearth Kerri would handle you by his side. ..so you're less hurt, and you got a lesser healer. Doesn't mean you don't need healing none at all," Kourtney says 'now, Adam, you need to avert your eyes if you please, turn around and all that. Girl's got her dignity."

"It's above the gut" Gerd says "Higher than that she says"

"Oh. Uh." He turns around.

Dagmar is currently purple, in the rainbow of colors she has turned tonight.

Then, belatedly, as a thought strikes him. "Dag, you want me to leave?"

And Kourtney prepares some wipes

Mumble.

Gerd says "how about Adam wait in the kitchen, he's a member of the lodge, doesn't feel right to make him go out entirely. Good for you, Adam?"

"Sure." He heads for the kitchen.

The broad-shouldered girl seems to have shrunk in on herself... insomuch as the armor allows.

And that armor is going off, slowly, Kourtney seems to know how it works, Gerd helps

Cuirass off, it's more apparent that some of the blood is hers - one thallian managed to skewer her through the chainmail. Lucky rib-strike.

"You're lucky you're able to breath" Kourtney says, "Ok. First things first. I'm going to take a sponge thing here... it's clean, and it will draw out any toxins slow. Gonna sting a bit. If you need to hold Gerd's hand, go ahead. I can restore the bones in her fingers later."

Gerd shoots Kourtney a LOOK, but offers Dagmar her hand "It's okay to squeeze. We're both tough"

"I'm okay..." Stubborn.

And it stings, and keeps stinging as it's held in place against the wound

Gerd's hand is there if Dagmar changes her mind

Adam finds Brown Dog in the kitchen, looking sad

She grimaces, eyes squeezing shut.. but she doesn't make a sound.

The sponge grows pink, then a bit of blacker..then pink again. "There we go... okay. Compared to that, the balm will be soothing" And there's a smell of something akin to bread

"Hey." He looks around; Symon may have buggered off out the back door. Adam sighs, and sits.

BrownDog walks over to Adam and lays his head into his lap. The scrappy mutt isn't a faere hound, he does the bad dog things sometimes, but he's m ostly a good dog

And then something wet and dough like pressed against the wounds., and Kourtney says "now, slowly, easily, take a deeper breath"

Dag takes a slow breath, as instructed.

Adam pets absently, glancing at the door to the main room occasionally.

And the more she breathes in, the better her lungs feel.

In fact, her whole mid section

She loses some tension as the pain ebbs and breathing gets easier. "Oh..."

"Okay, wiping the blood off, you're going to want a shower I think, now let me look at that goose egg on your head."

"Kourtney, it's great your helping, but uhm.. not to slam you, but is the Chief and Hearth at the Farmhold busy? or something ?" Gerd asks

"oh,," A smile from Kourtney "Moments before you called, one of The Maude's water broke. Clem's Midwife"

"Somebody socked me. Think it was the ogre... dunno. Kind of blurry."

"With a hit like that... I believe it"

Grunt.

"We killed some of them for real."

"I don't know if I did. Flyswatter's chimerical..."

"Then some might come back," Kourtney says "But dont' worry about that. Here..." A chocolate chip cookie is offered, "Eat this. Spring magics in it. I was told raisins would work better for healing, but it always seemed cruel to me to think you were getting chips then bit into raisins"

"Chocolate is better." She agrees, and takes a bite.

Oh my gosh, somehow, while cold, it still has a kind of molteny goodness

"Mm."

Kourtney beams "Thanks " And she touches the lump "Hey, there it goes..."e

Gerd observes, "It's cool... like a little mole that lives in her skull has decided to go back deeper"
