Olgar sees Dagmar, grunts ("No guilt. ")

Still, she ducks her head and retreats to the stable.

Olgar nods "Okay...rest up .. your arms are getting noodly. WHy don't you relax by the stables or something" Olgar tells Adam

He doesn't want to stop. " no, I'm good! It's a good workout. I'll ice later."

"If you just want to work out, do some laps. It's no good if you get clumsy"

Kerri comes out of the kitchen, carrying two glasses of water, one larger than the other. "You two look like you were doing good work."

"He's already got the basics thanks to some of Dagmar's lessons, but he's got to work on that grip for rapiers" Olgar moves to his wife to take the glass "Thanks, babe" A soft kiss on her cheek and he whispers something

" thanks mrs. Davidson."

She grins to Adam as he takes his glass, then listens to Olgar's whisper as she returns her husband's kiss.

A curious expression, and a quick glance towards the stables, an inquiry.

a nod

"Mmmm..." Another kiss on his cheek. "Well, if you don't mind, I'm going to steal Adam a moment. Brief chore for you, Adam, if you don't mind?"

The boy finishes the glass quickly, thirsty.

He drinks his own glass, then looks to the kid "Your dad will be getting some training too. I suppose you prefer not at the same time?"

" oh, no ma'am. I don't mind."

" whatever is most convenient, sir."

"Easy on the sir, stuff. I work for a living" A sigh

"Come with me, then, Adam." She leads him back into the kitchen.

He follows.

She gathers up a tall stack of wool fabric. "Fresh blankets, for the horses. I thought they could use some newer ones. Would you bring them down to the stables, and stack them in the cabinet there?"

"Yes, ma'am." He takes them.

The stack is likely tall enough for him to have difficulty seeing beyond it.

"Could you get the door for me, Mrs. Davidson?" slightly muffled.

"Oh, absolutely. Here...watch your step."

Adam staggers slightly out the door and barn-wards.

Meanwhile - stalls are mucked out. Slightly less unpleasant inthe cold, but far from glamorous.

Kerri comes back outside and stands by Olgar. She murmurs to him, "If they don't get around to talking this time, I'm going to push the issue."

"mmph, good luck" Olgar says "And dont insutl her honor. she's still a gwyd."

"You'll defend me," she says confidently, giving his butt a good pinch.

Adam fumbles his way into the barn.

.... and stops, not sure how to FIND the cupboard for these things, much less how to open it for them.....

"I would" He chuckles

..... or even where to set the damn things down so he can figure it out..........

Dagmar is caught up in work, pitching the soiled straw out.

"Fuck." Muffled.

"Hunh?" She looks up.

"Help?" Unsure. "Cupboard? I can't really see....."

A grunt. She sets the pitchfork aside and goes to help.

"Cause it's taller than your head."

"Oh. Uh. Hi, Dagmar. Yeah, a lot of things here are."

She takes the stack from him.

"Hey." Quietly, but looking at her boldly.

"Hey."

She's bundled up, ready to shift between inside and outside at work. Gloves, hat, coat.

He tears his gaze away, looking around the barn. "So... where's the cupboard?"

"Back this way..." She leads.

Adam will dash forward to get the door if he can.

"Oh..."

"Thanks."

"Welcome." He helps put them away if allowed.
