"A quest to... but I can't go, Uncle Jaymes" Siv seems distraught . A nautical adventure, without her?

Brow ("Why not?")

"I'm moving into Earth Runes for a week... or a month I'm not sure" She admits "I mean, I think I'll get to visit now and then but it's... mom and dad and ...Earth Runes all seem to think I was burning my candle at both ends" Siv says her features conflicted.

A nod "Ah." ("Well, they're not wrong")

"What's more of a quest for love than this? Aren't Fiona all about Love?"

Siv actually looks pained, "Great. Either way I'm failing."

"No you aren't. Just ask them. I mean, is there some deadline for learning Fiona things?"

"I've got orders, orders I agreed to follow as part of this." Siv says "I just told my parents and Earth Runes I was moving in now. I can't disregard it whenever it's convenient for me. I want to go. I do, but sometimes what I want is.. not what matters, not if it makes me go back on my word"

Siv ponders then, "Cadman!"

Jaymes' brows shoot up ("What about him?")

Siv explains "Cadman is from Thyle, he's been at the farm when he hasn't been wandering Concordia. He must have a way back. A ship somewhere or something?"

"Hmph" (You could ask)

"Dagmar, you'r kaking me feel guilty." She says "I just now agreed to this, anguished over this. I know it's important to you but if we can get you to Thyle I'm not really needed." But she does look troubled

"You seem to have all kinds of your own ideas about what is expected of you." She shrugs.

Her back stiffens at that "What part of 'I'll go get my things, tell my boyfriend I have to go, and be right back' is just an 'idea'?"

"Whatever, go stay at Earth Runes. See if I care. I gotta go pack." She stomps off.

"Dags" ("Dagmar!") Jaymes says

BUt his daughter has stomped off.

Siv says "Not your fault, Uncle Jaymes. DIsagreements happen." Siv is raging inside, but her face a stoic mask

"I'll.. call Cadman.." And she heads off.

Jaymes frowns. He knows his daughter is hurt.. and he knows Siv is hurt. He just wishes he could fix this.

Siv races in the door "Dagmar? I'm going on the quest. I got permission with a proviso that I can handle, you in here? Mom It's okay I got approval."

Not even sure if either are here

Kerri is the only one in sight at the moment, refreshing coffee mugs. "You're going on the what now?"

Sally Mae answers the phone "What? Zane has been found? Well, where... the Count's? " "Anne Marie is WHAT?" A call "Hearth... The Count wants us to have someone pick up Anne Marie, her two sons, and a truant satyr"

"Oh it's a big quest thing for a gift for Tove, from her mother don't tell her and.." Siv blinks "And I think it's the second most important thing now instead of the first"

"Pick up...wait...what?" A sigh. "Feast or famine for action around here. Sally Mae, you can handle things for a bit?"

"I don't see as we have much of a choice for me not too" She admits

"Yes, that seems to be the case." Whether she's answering SallyMae or Siv may be unclear. "Siv, I thought you were staying at...oh, never mind, I have to go rescue a troupe, apparently."

Gerd comes in carrying a stinky puppy, one that has somehow been given false directions into a skunk's den by SOMEONE "I need all the tomato juice you can find."

A sound of disgust. "Or for the love of...Connor, are you okay? Come into the kitchen, quickly, Gerd." She heads in and grabs a bottle of tomato juice from the fridge and quickly pours it into the cauldron-o-plenty to make it multiply.

"Yes, ma'am" Gerd says

As the cauldron produces a TON of Tomato soup , she says "I can wash him from here"

Sally mae says "Oh goodness. Hearth, might want to take some dross in case they need more healing at Caer Falken, Hearth, seems to be the sort of night they might just run out"

"Now, Connor...Buddy...stay the shape you're in until we get you washed. I think it'll be easier that way, though you may need a second round in your boy-skin. Gerd, don't just dump him in the cauldron, put it in a washtub..." She hauls one over for them to use.

"It does seem to be trending that way, doesn't it?" she replies to SallyMae.

"Of course, I don't want to drown him" Gerd is appalled that she might even think she'd do that, but the girl is fussing "It's not in his eyes I checked."

"Good. Connor, you'll be okay, Gerd's got you. I have to go to Caer Falken...." And hope I don't smell too much... "...Siv! I think Dagmar is at the Barn, try her there. SallyMae, call me if anything else happens." She does grab a good handful of dross on her way out.

"Thanks, Hearth" Siv says /"Thanks, Hearth" Gerd says// "On it, Hearth, Good luck" Sally Mae says

And the Hearth departs, grateful to know that there are so many competent hands to take care of the Lodge when she can't be there.
