"Hey, where's your person?" She scoops up the tabby.

It would appear Siv is not here, and with her spending time with STUPID Fiona, Mackerel is feeling neglected

She presses her forehead against Mack's. "Poor girl."

YES! Thank you! How do others not see this? Mackerel is not a begger, no , but ever cat has a breaking point.

And finally, Siv walks in, looking wiped

"Hey!"

"hey" she says starting to walk past

"Oh no you don't"

Mack gives a death glare to Siv

"Don't what?" Siv says turning "Dagmar? What's..what's wrong? I have had a hell of a day, never trained so hard in my life"

"Don't just go on. You missed someone."

"I did?" She rubs at her eyes " I did the sparring, the horse riding, then the dancing and.. all in a different change of clothes each time with barely five minutes to... "

"Hmph."

"Arms out."

"I.. oh, wait, is Mackerel Sick?" Siv looks worried, but she does hold out her hands

"She misses you."

And she places said cat in Siv's arms.

"Oh, " Siv says "Now mack why are you fussing, I feed you every day and I petted on just...wait, is today Friday? Today's friday right?"

Narrator's Voice : It was not

"Um. Sunday."

"Oh geez, Mack I'm sorry. I haven't given you a petting season since Thursday.." She looks into the furry face "Oh you're pissed"

😾 Yup

"I'm not you, so I'm not quite good enough."

"I think you're better than I am, Dagmar, at least when it comes to remembering your pet "A VERY guilty look, "Thank you for catching me. I need to get someone some nippy treats before I go to bed"

"Sure. Go get some rest, Siv."

"Thanks. ANything else I should know?"

"Eh."

A yawn, "Okay. Nothing new then. " She says "Let's get you some nippy treats, Mackeral" stroke stroke

"Night Siv."

"Night" And off she goes, uanaware there is going to be a satyress in the guest room she was thinking of meeting Jonas in the morning.

And Dagmar finds herself enjoying the bale's warmth alone. And, that's not bad. NO pressure to be charming or anything

She closes her eyes, warm and content

And Browndog , if she's sitting, curls at her feet or puts a head in her lap while she dozes

And some quiet, happy time slips by as she pets the dog.
