The kitchen door opens, and a dark skinned satyr wearing weather inappropriate clothing comes out wiping at his hands, which look recently dried

"I had no idea there was a rule that if you invade the kitchen she puts you to wor..." Then he almost runs into the Chieftain "Ah, pardon, would you be the Chieftain?"

A bemused look at the satyr's reaction to SallyMae's rules, then she nods. "I am, Chieftain Brekke. You are Lyron?"

"I am, Chieftain" He says and admits "DOn't know if I should bow or offer my hand. But I've been treated well since they found me. This is a nice hold to be sure. "

She resolves the quandary by offering her hand...which would surely engulf his entirely. "My thanks. It serves its people well." Clear pride in her hold. "Come and sit. Do you wish coffee?"

It does, though he is an athletic well built fellow "I wouldn't mind a cup now that the cocoa warmed me. " He pulls a chair out for her, and whether it is smooth and gentlemanly or comical and gentlemanly (Given the size of the chair) is for the beholders"I am told that I should get your approval to live in this barony?" his tone shows he's a bit surprised but not offended.

Nadeen whispers something to Dagmar

Brekke nods, and then may completely miss his intention as she turns to get her own coffee and one for him as well, then goes to her regular chair by the fire after handing him his mug. She gestures to indicate where the coffee fixings are kept. Then she looks a bit surprised. "Indeed? Where did you hear this?"

He gestures to Nadeen and Dagmar, and he gets his own coffee. "The ladies were kind enough to suggest such."

Nadeen nods.

A blink at them, then she looks back to him, taking a sip before responding. "Tell me what brings you to Rivervale, Lyron. I am correct to address you without title?"

"title ? Me? " He laughs "No no, never been caught by a sidhe lord feeling overly generous no. I came here to see if I wanted to move here, join the new Traggo. The Wayburtons put out word and I was interested" he says honestly "I was hoping to go to their home, but I didn't want to step on the wrong hoof so when the girls told me to come here first, I did. And I'm glad, the food is excellent. And the company quite tolerant of me so far."

Brekke nods. "We are glad to welcome new arrivals. Tell me more of what you have heard of this...new traggo?"

"Apparently the County has a traggo that meets .. or the Duchy does? I dont' recall exactly " Honest "But the barony doesn't.. but more satyrs have been moving in. And, in keeping with your policy of helping those down on their luck or from floods and fires and such, satyrs who had similar might find a welcome home indeed."

Brekke nods and takes another sip of coffee. "That sounds worthwhile. Does such a crisis send you here? I note you seem better dressed for warmer climate."

"Ah," His smile dies a bit, "While I did lose a lot in the hurricane, that wasn't the crisis in question that i most wanted to avoid. "

In the other room, Dagmar dissolves into snickering at something Nadeen whispered

The two are acting like..well, wilders. Well behaved wilders, but wilders.

"No? Can you explain?"

"Muldoon," Lyron says "But because a name alone won't mean much to you, I should say Muldoon is the power in the Island's changelings there."

A curious eyebrow. "I suspect you do not find him a benevolent power."

"Or her?"

"Him, and no, I do not consider a man who extorts ten percent of every changelings glamour, dross, or money a benevolent power. " He says "Where I come from, there's no baron, no count. The power is Muldoon and his bully boys."

Oh, both eyebrows are up, now. "I see. Hm." She leans back. "This is something I think you and I should discuss further...but perhaps not just now. Do you have a place to stay?"

"I have a credit card with some money in it, I was going to ask the Wayburtons to suggest one. I figure with Valentine's Day over hotels might clear up." he says

"Mm. Well, then," she pauses and finishes her coffee. "I should take you to meet the Wayburtons." She rises.

"I'd be delighted. I hope it's close. I really didn't think when I got that flicker flash lift to the general area"

"A moment. I will find you a cloak." She heads back down a hall and opens a door to what must be something of a linen closet. After a few moments, she returns with a wool cloak...a half-cloak for a troll, but should do nicely to keep Lyron warm. "There, does that suit?"

"More than, thank you. I'll return it to you soon" And he means it. A nod to the girls "Ladies, thank you for the chat and hosptiality. Please tell Sally Mae much the same? I'd go in to do it myself, but I'm worried I'll be put to work again" A grin

Nadeen inclines her head, "We'll pass it along."

And he is ready to follow the Chief.

"Nadeen, Dagmar, I would like to speak with you both when I return. Thank you for bringing Lyron here." She nods, then leads the satyr out.

"yes, Chief."

And once they go- Nadeen looks at Dagmar "This could be interesting. But I wonder if the CHieftain has considered how more common the gift of pan will become?"
